  Called J. Woods plumbing due to a few water issue's that I had, leaking toilet at the floor and a bathtub stem seat that I couldn't remove.
  *** came to my duplex at the agreed upon date and time. He was able to fix the problems that I had along with an outside spigot that had a small drip.
  The problems were corrected in both an efficient and financial manner. As a homeowner and property manager, *** was able to give some ideas and suggestions for potential plumbing needs that I may have.
  I would recommend *** and Jack L. Woods plumbing for current and future plumbing needs.

  On Wednesday, we discovered a substantial leak under our bathroom sink. We called **** Woods and scheduled a service call for the following day, arrival between 10-3. Unfortunately, I did not get the scheduler's name. The following day I waited for the tech's arrival. I also did not receive a promised phone call 20 minutes before arrival. After the 3pm deadline, I knew there was an issue,, because they are usually prompt and professional. So I called the office again, and spoke with a Bill (?) *******. As I suspected, I was not on the schedule, for that day or even the following week. He knew someone had made an error and immediately scheduled me and contacted his "on-call" tech. The tech arrived within an hour and fixed the leak, replaced two shut-off valves, apologized for the error and departed within 45 minutes. The service charge was fair and I am satisfied with the work. Call these guys for plumbing issues, but get a name after scheduling. These guys are fair and normally prompt and professional.

  I was pleased with the installation of the toilet. I noticed on my bill that I had been charged for a wax ring although the toilet I bought had a ring enclosed. When I called to ask I was told they do not use the rings sent because they tend to fail quickly.
  I would like to know if anyone else questioned that and got the same response. I don’t understand why Koehler would send an inferior ring and include it in the price if I would have to pay for another one. It would have been nice to be provided that information up front.

  Be aware of their SCAM services and billing issues. We'll NOT use them again and DON'T recommend them to others! They are a total rip off! 
  We recently called Jack Wood Plumbing Inc, based in Westerville OH for small issues like sink not draining and some noise in the toilet while flushing. They told us that they'll charge about $150 service fee per hour and if they diagnose and fix the issue then additional charges for parts. They didn't fix the main issue of the sink not draining! They had only fixed the toilet noise while flushing, which requires small parts! Just for this they charged us hefty labor charges for two people (hundreds of dollars! I am not kidding, almost three times normal charges!)
  Unfortunately, my family member wasn't at home when they came, so we didn't know how many plumbers they had sent! They never told us upfront that they'll be sending two plumbers to take a look at the issue, they didn't give us upfront estimates.
  They told us that they had sent an invoice in mail but not sure why it was returned and we never got it! When Larry, from Jack Wood Plumbing called us and asked for payment, we requested a detailed work order to understand the details (since the amount they told us was extremely high!)
  Larry, sent us an invoice screen shot but just a summary, where we noticed they had charged for TWO plumbers labor charges which was the bulk of the invoice. He wouldn't send us the detailed work order and kept threatening us that if we don't pay then they'll send it to the collection! Larry, told us that it is NOT their company policy to provide estimates! Really??? That is complete BS.
  Finally, we got some details from collection guy! Inspite of all these trouble, we paid the full amount but what a waste of our time, money and rip off! We had to hire other plumbing service who completed the work for us at a much more reasonable price and quality service!

  May L clearly misunderstands what her situation was and what we did. We’re sorry if we didn't communicate adequately. Her "issues" were far from "small." When we arrived the faucet was leaking into the cabinet. While we were working the trap-and-drain assembly completely fell apart from the bottom of the sink to the wall because it was so rotted out. We spent 2.5 hours trying to open the sink drain and in the process replaced many parts because they were so neglected ("parts" were a substantial portion of our invoice). We advised the customer that she needed a drain company to open the drain. Importantly, it was necessary for a plumber to first replace those parts—the drain company would likely have insisted on it—so it was fortunate that we were called first. In addition, we also repaired the toilet.
  
  We charge $120 an hour for a plumber and $60 for an assistant, which we told May L when she called (as is our practice). Since we sent two plumbers, yet only charged for one plumber and one assistant, she received good value from the service call. They worked efficiently and the work was necessary. Jack L. Woods Plumbing is one of the most popular plumbing companies in north Columbus, which it has served for 50 years.
