      R&L Carriers LLC Received a call after I purchased my adjustable bed and mattress set to give me the delivery date and time.when it comes to communication they are great the driver was amazing she called 30minutes before arrival.******* arrived on time and was very pleasant she put all 3 heavy boxes inside my garage which is what I wanted. Very positive experience and I definitely use them in the future.Thank you ********++

      Horrible company to ship with. Had nothing but issues. First shipment was in the trailer of a fire. Yet they still tried to deliver it to me 3 days late. Thinking they cleaned up the boxes and rewrapped so I couldn't tell. I could. Manufacturer reshipped the items to me. Yet again showed up damaged and missing items. I would not use this company. No credit given either for the shipping fees paid.

      My company has used R&L Carriers for many years. If I have a choice between them and other carriers, I almost always use them. Today it was raining hard. They delivered 2 large cardboard containers. THE DRIVER wrapped them up in plastic himself before placing them near the front door of our business as it was in a spot they might have gotten wet. I doubt any other company would have done that!!! Kudos to the company but in particular the driver ! Unfortunately, I don't have his name to give him recognition.

      As a commercial customer, I will admit we have had a good experience with the local LTL team. However (a BIG however) our experience with the international team has us checking into other options for our shipping needs. We periodically order a few pallets at a time from a manufacturer in China. 2024 saw multiple orders over a short period of time. An R&L Rep asked what we were being charged for shipping, and upon hearing our cost remarked that it sounded high & we should give them a shot at quoting our next order. As I spoke to 3 or 4 of these experts, I was VERY CLEAR that our cost was door-to-door service. At every step we were reassured that everything would work out. Our main complaint over the manufacture handling the freight was the lack of transparency. We were again assured full transparency with their new global tracking systems. Real time tracking of our shipment. R&L reps boasted about this system and that they were soooooo experienced in the port workings that they controlled every aspect of their containers. So much so that their containers cleared customs five days before coming into port! Amazing! No delays at port and right onto a truck. We bought the port bond. No big deal. A couple of $100 for 12 months of this magical service. Saving time & money. Let's do it! Now the reality...Delays at sea. OK, fine. Can't control the weather. Oh, wait, I can see the live freight tracking, right? Not so much. The order has yet to make it to port. Enter the first disappointing email informing us our bill is 2.5Xs the estimate. Excuse me?! Then they have the nerve to demand payment before it hits port. I think not. Order enters port. Right to a truck! Not so fast! Enter 2nd disappointment, new email letting us know that the container including our freight has been flagged for inspection. But no need to worry, because it had nothing to do with our shipment. How long will this take? Should be fast, they say, 3-5 days maybe a week. Weeks later, another email

      There is so much more to this saga. In response to your comment, a week after finally receiving our shipment in mid-February (and passed off to a 3rd party) we received a call from one of R&L Global's Fixers (2/18/25). She was clueless that we had only received our freight the week before. Beginning the conversation inferring my ignorance of international logistics, which was consistently shared be me personally at every step and called stupid. After a very long conversation we were offered financial compensation and asked to take this review public. We relied on R&L and were taken advantage of every step of the way. We patiently waited (to our word) for 2 months before going on blast. Lies to the end.

      Update - 4/4/2025 - After a second confirmation that the tub would be delivered on 4/4/2025 now, it changed to 4/7/2025. After a phone call to find out why - it was determined that I personally said we would not be open. That never Happened. Own your mistake and make things right. Stop making up lies for your incompetence.Had a very important item I needed ASAP. Paid for 1 day shipping - Received confirmation we would receive on time. Item sat in warehouse at 7:51:50 AM at destination terminal - and has not moved for 28 Hours. Their Est. Delivery date changed from 4/3/2025 to 4/4/2025 Called to ask about this, to find out if we could even drive to pick it up - I was told I was wrong - and that was the end of their conversation.Things happen - delays happen - paying $792 for overnight shipping, the item not showing up on time, and then getting talked to like a *** is truly one of my favorite things to do on A Thursday morning - So thank you for that!Why take ownership of a problem when you can just belittle someone into believing your incorrect statements - the R&L carrier way

      they delivered a pallet of lacquer thinner to us, everything looked good at first, then we cut open shrink wrap to find nothing but busted containers in the middle. They destroyed product then repalletized hiding the busted in the middle. Then rewrapped with new plastic. they are a very dishonest company.

      We used this company to deliver 600lb transmissions worth $30000. They delivered them to the wrong location and never tried to help us to resolve this issue. Terrible customer service, nobody knows what they do and no one cares about the service and their clients.

      I would not recommend R+L carriers. Their communications with customers is lacking. Had a deliver scheduled and confirmed. Took the day off work to be present for deliver as signature was required. Deliver was a no-show and no attempt to contact me was made. After deliver window, I called R+L and they informed me that the deliver would not be made until next business day. Customers are having to go out of their way to accommodate the delivery and when R+L fails to meet a confirmed appointment, they will not do anything to accommodate the customer. The entire burden of their failure will be placed on the customers shoulders. I reached out to R+L corporate to discuss but I get the generic response that back from them. Their communications back to me was tone def and dismissive.
