We worked with them for over a decade and made them hundreds of thousands of dollars, there drivers are awesome, but bad management and poor customer service made us leave them. If you owe any type of money for deliveries they will hound you and threaten to over triple the amount owed to them even if you have amazing credit with them and make weekly payments. Their GM and top shot callers are AWFUL! Be aware and stay away from their services. Use *** ******** or ***** *******!R & L Carriers, Inc.

Hello, I randomly received 3 invoices from R&L carriers that I’m totally unrelated to. When I called, I was transferred 3 times finally ending up disconnected. Understand the invoices are sent in error to a random person who had no business with R&L in the past but atleast customer service rep could have helped rather transferring and disconnecting the call. Can someone from R&L help get the invoices cleared?R & L Carriers, Inc.

R+L Carriers is the worst option anyone can use for deliveries. We had ordered something from **** and it was supposed to be delivered on 1/18/25. Called them to see why we hadn't received it by 1/20/25 and when I called I talked to 3 different people for them to just tell me that they were going to look at the cameras to see where our item was and they were supposed to call back, they never did. The item was delivered today on 1/21/25 but when the driver arrived with it he made us go unload it off of his truck. What kind of company makes the customer unload something from their truck?R & L Carriers, Inc.

They don’t even deserve one star. Left my large shipment outside and refused to take it in. Representative who scheduled the delivery failed to mention they only do curbside delivery and now I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do with this refrigerator left outside. In addition, when I called to talk to the representative suggesting for them to let customers know they only do curb side delivery, she started arguing and not even acknowledging their mistake. Very poor communication skills, customer service and overall delivery service.R & L Carriers, Inc.

I don’t even want to give one star. I had a very large package delivered. R+L CARRIERS left the package in the middle of the road. This package was very large and I could not move it out of the road by myself. I asked that they return and put it in my driveway so that it didn’t get hit. The dispatcher on the phone refused to let me speak to the operations manager. He spoke down to me and told me my driveway was full of ice ( it was not) and how would I know what a driver could do? He asked had I ever driven a tractor trailer or used a pallet jack? He was very disrespectful rude and talked down to me. Don’t ever use this company. All I wanted was for someone to move the box from the road and they treated me like I was a huge inconvenience. Terrible customer service. Chris is very rude And unprofessional!R & L Carriers, Inc.

Worst experience with a carrier ever.
They left a pallet of furniture on a busy public road and made it my problem to get to my home. This after they were hours past their delivery window. The dispatchers were incredibly rude and disrespectful to me when I inquired how I could possibly get a 650lb pallet from the road to my home. They even accused me of lying. Absolutely horrible- if I had hired them I would switch carriers.R & L Carriers, Inc.

R&L Carriers use to be a great company, unfortunately that is no longer the case. We had an outstanding relationship with R&L for over 15 years. They damaged a shipment of ours and refuse to pay the claim. It has been 3 months since the initial claim was filed and now, they will not even respond to emails. terrible customer service!R & L Carriers, Inc.

I placed an order for some rubber matting. It shipped sooner than expected from the vendor, leaving the day I took vacation. I'm the only person at the business so I left signs on both doors for delivery drivers, spoke to the neighboring business in case they needed to sign for things, left that detail on the door sign as well, and emailed the company I ordered from to ask them to hold it. I was away from the office phone and without company email while away so my cell number was on the door too. The driver never called my cell and when I returned to work today there was a tag to call. The delivery was attempted one time, Monday 11/18/24 at 12:45pm and I called today 11/25/24 a week after delivery. The customer service rep said there was a storage fee but it wasn't declined so my shipment was disposed of and I would need to place a new order. ***??? First off, I've never heard of a storage fee on shipments. Second, the fee was $570 which is insane, like twice the cost of the shipping itself. Third I left that detail with the company I ordered from but they didn't warn me of the storage fee until I had already left. There was an auto response on my email while I was away with the dates of my return as well. The driver never called my cell, I'd have drove the 4hrs back here or sorted out for the neighbor to take delivery. Instead R+L puts the blame on me and the vendor. This is not how you do customer service. I don't even know where to start to undo this mess. **** *************R & L Carriers, Inc.

We alerted R+L Carriers in advance that our residence was located on a narrow dead end road and would require a box truck, not an 18 wheeler. The Bill of Laden clearly stated "Residential Limited Access" and indicated that a charge had been paid for "Limited Access Delivery". Apparently this was ignored at the terminal. The driver called, said he was 20 minutes away in an 18 wheeler. To be accommodating we agreed to meet him on a quiet street 1/2 mile from our house with my pickup. In making the transfer from his lift gate to my pickup, he caved in the inner panel of the tail gate with the wheel of the pallet jack. I got the required estimates to repair my truck ($2100) and completed the required paper work. R+L Carriers refuses to pay for repairs to my truck. Do not agree to sign their General Release form which the driver will insist that you sign before the delivery is completed. They will use this "got-cha" form to to avoid any damage they cause. Also as you can see from the above they do not even provide the appropriate paid for service. From this day forward when we purchase any item that needs to be delivered by a freight carrier, our first question will be, "who do use for shipping?" If the answer is R+L, we will shop elsewhere.R & L Carriers, Inc.

We ordered a large shipment of *****l. It arrived weeks late. They obviously left the shipment of *****l at their storage facility for weeks. It's evident that they were placing other objects on top of it because the boxes were smashed when they arrived and fluid was leaking all over the place. They covered the shipment with cardboard so that we wouldn't notice. Once they left and we took off the cardboard, we saw that *****l (a highly toxic, flammable, and caustic fluid) was leaking everywhere. This is dangerous for both their driver and for us. This is beyond irresponsible. They created a major health hazard. Someone could have been hospitalized.R & L Carriers, Inc.
