      I was paying for 2 services, they refused to what was in the description of services for both. They were more argumentative then helpful. They wouldnt even answer basic legal questions, then they were supposed to send me a full account of all i paid for, they never did. Then they dropped my meberships without saying a word.

      I would like give a zero stars for legal shield. I just started to pay monthly on 2020 to march 2022 to cancel. I was asked for divorce papers after my third child born. Somehow, the business should shut down because disrespectful, yelled, and harsh words on my face through videophone while Im staying at hospital. Legal shield is rip off money for lawyer and cost so much money and expect me to pay a 3k dollars to get a divorce lawyer and $60 dollars per hour to email for divorce lawyer. Thats crazy!

      THIS SERVICE IS A SCAM. When I joined LegalShield on August 9, 2022, I saw that the attorney given to me does not handle legal issues such as mine; plus, the attorney's office is hundreds of miles away from me. Within 30 minutes of joining, I called LegalShield and spoke with **** and told her to cancel my membership. As prompted by LegalShield, I sent an email requesting cancellation. Between August 9 - 10, I was told by three LegalShield employees that I would not be charged the membership fee of $29.95. On August 11, 2022, a charge of $29.95 was debited on my credit card. I was charged anyway! Today I was informed that, when I sent the email request for cancellation of my membership, I did not state that I wanted my money refunded! I was told that I have to send another email asking for a refund and that it can take up to 15 days. I sent the email requesting a refund.

      I signed up for Legalshield as a biz opp and enrolled 6 associates, earned the fast start bonus and a $300 bonus for a summer sales blitz and I was shocked that 3 of the 6 associates I signed up, Christians I know from ******** and church cancelled because of negative reports like seen on this platform that caused great concern in them. Legalshield turned the focus off of their own rep and looked at me in a negative light and because of the cancellation they did not pay me $0. They withheld my commissions and on the day they agreed to pay me they placed me on hold pending legal review and this because of something I wrote on Linkedin. I a day before hung up on a nasty attitude woman in ***, ** that was railing me about the cancellations rather than telling me what was going on and her attitude was not friendly. I hung up on her and the next day they placed my funds on hold and told me to present documents on a case that was 20 years old and long since over. I submitted the docs and have been a pastor for past 10 years and they told me they would let me know the outcome within 10 days and it took 21+ days and they ended up denying my app and not paying me my commissions and bonuses I earned righteously. I would strongly urge avoiding this as a business associate and finding another opportunity, this was so stressful and I devoted weeks of work and hours of my time and they did not pay me anything and I owed at least $1500

      I just sent them this email:I would like you to cancel my member ship please. Also, I would like a refund for $29.95 I was charged on 4 August.At the end of JUNE I called ***********************, my legalshield contact, and made it clear I was unhappy with his services and wanted to cancel my membership. I even got a call later at 8 in the morning from legalshield customer service asking my feedback to which I made it clear that your services were unhelpful and that ***** violated about every point of his sales pitch guarantees to me. I also called ************************* myself to notify them I cancelled my membership with you so they could not charge me for anything.I would ask for the original charge to be refunded because I was so neglected and counting on your employee doing their job to assist me in a matter of $2000. But I did receive menial service so I would be satisfied with the $29.95 from the 4th of this month.

      LegalShield is a joke!! If you are late on a payment they call that a cancellation and they will not cover you for anything that has to do with court. They will call it preexisting. I needed them to help me with my license and writing a DEMAND FOR PAYMENT LETTER. They sent me a link for my license, which I already had so NO HELP and I asked 3 times and gave them the information for the DEMAND FOR PAYMENT LETTER and it never happened as well. I am so disappointed in this service. They are not what they seem. They are just a service without a real OFFICE they just pay attorney offices to be kind of on call i guess and they turn in bills to them and they will either pay it or they wont. And they will do everything to get out of paying it so so not waste ur money. Save the $30 a month and put it in a cookie jar and pay for your own lawyer trust me u will not regret it. At least you know where your money went. Because they didnt care I needed one paper filled out for court and I have paid in and off since 2017 and its 2022 and they would not do it. They suck!!!!!!!

      They get your money and say it's one price an charge another price They also take ur money an don't do anything for you talk about call three months later it's just a fraud

      Poor customer service. I called today, to find out how I could obtain additional help. Alexis was rude and not helpful. I asked if I could file a complaint. She reluctantly advised I could ask to speak with a supervisor or manager. I was put on hold and subsequently disconnected. I called back and this woman indicated that she would put in line to speak with a supervisor or manager. After 45 minutes, I hung up as there was no response. I called back a third time and spoke with Bee, she advised she would submit a complaint, it related to when I cancelled my membership the person (Pam) indicated I had coverage until July 28th. I was advised today that I had no coverage and could talk to no one. It does not seem appropriate to be told that the coverage that I paid for was good until July 28th. Now I am being advised my coverage is longer good on July 20th. This seems to be misrepresentation.
