I am writing to formally dispute the additional $120 charge for a fifth treatment and the proposed $190 cancellation fee. I entered into an agreement with your representative at my home in Kingston, Oklahoma, based on his clear verbal assurance that the service included four quarterly pest control treatments over 12 months at $120 per visit.
I was not shown a complete version of the contract before or after signing on the representative’s device, and I relied on the verbal explanation provided. I was never informed that a fifth treatment was included or required, nor was I made aware of a cancellation penalty.
When your office later contacted me and insisted on a fifth treatment or cancellation fee, I was surprised and disappointed, as this was not what was represented at the time of the agreement. I have already paid in full for the four treatments I agreed to. Any additional charge based on contract language I was not permitted to review or fully understand constitutes misrepresentation and deceptive sales practices.Business Response

Showed techs the ant piles I needed treated. They never treated them. My mother stepped in one getting out of the car at night and they bit her up pretty good. And this happened after they came out to treat them 2 times. I sent pics of the problem. I requested service by email. The problem never got fixed. I’m unhappy with the service and they wanna charge me 250 dollars for canceling my service. It’s unjust enrichments they’re trying to do. And they do it to a lot of folks. I gave the company a chance to fix the problem. And they never did. Bugs still in our house. I was patient enough. Neighbors have told me this company is fighting a law suit and they’re currently being sued. I’m gonna reach out to my lawyers. I know they’re gonna try to put this on my credit for leaving them.Business Response

*** ********nd tricks people into signing binding contracts for services that aren't very good and then when you call someone in the office you get told that there's nothing you can do about it because of the contract and unless you want to pay a cancellation fee you're stuck paying a fee every month. They have no remorse or compassion and take advantage of anyone they can, how the sales people explain the billing is not how I'm billed every month and the services they provide are just them walking around the yard sprinkling some kind of granules and leaving. I am not the only one this has happened to you and I'm just hoping that something can be done about them taking advantage of other members in our community.Business Response

The company never explained anything and just took a early termination fee. If you look at company history they do this to 50% of the customers. 8/6 no tech showed up so how did they do the service? Please provide documents for proof.

I have no contract with the company and I signed no paperwork. I am the home owner. I never saw or was aware of a signed contract. And never saw any one come out and preform any work at my residence. Please look at the history of this company and background. You will see they scam many people the same way.

A man came calling door to door. We were outside already, he went through his speel about pest control.75$ to start, then so much a quarter, we thought.We told him, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES would we allow them to take money out of out bank.Moving forward, we received a notice that they had taken out $40. something.I called them right away. Telling her we said they couldn't do that, and asking why they took it out so soon.She informed me that they billed us every month. I said NO! She said we signed saying we could. I told her we didn't sign anything.She asked me at least 1/2 doz. times, did I want to cancel.Finally, I said yes. We did not knowingly sign a 1 year binding contract. He lied to us and said it was a month to month payment and we could cancel at anytime and never addressed that this was a binding contract that would require a cancellation fee. Per reviews it appears there is a trend of the sales men being deceitful regarding how these processes work and basically is manipulating people into something they were unaware of. We were not given the option to read any so called contract before signing it was explained to us that it was not a binding contract and they just showed us where to sign and did not give us the option to read over anything before signing. We just took their word for what they explained as truthful. That is deceitful and manipulative by this company. We cannot cancel our service due to the cancellation fee being a financial burden but would like this to be discontinued at no charge due to being mislead by the sales man and honor their words. Something needs to be done and made right about this situation. I have spoken with the manager and no one seems to care about the situation, there is a lack of empathy regarding this issue. I have tried to express my concerns and nothing has been addressed with us directly. We were just contacted by the manager after this complaint and stated we were just calling to see if you need someone to come out per your BBB reviewNo one called and has addressed the real issue or have showed to even care about the situation. I would like to speak with the owner and have something done about this situation as it appears you cant get anywhere with the manager. If this was one mistake there would not be others having the same complaints.

I can understand that the First visit with our Salesman could be confusing on 03/08/2024. We came out on 03/11/2024 to do your *************** and you signed a different document stating that this is a 1 year agreement with all the terms on this agreement highlighted on the Welcome Letter that you signed on 03/11/2024 before our technician started service. I am rejecting this response because: On 3/11/24 for the initial service, I was given a tiny phone like tablet that just had a write screen and a line to sign and was asked to sign by the guy completing the service. I still was not explained that I was signing a contract at that time and was not offered to read anything I was signing. I was under the assumption that since I was not given anything to read, that I was just signing that the service was completed that day. Like what you would do when signing for a package. I was not given anything to read over and was not given a contract directly and was just told to sign. I was manipulated into signing something I didnt understand I was signing. That is bad business and taking off $50 does not justify or resolve the bad customer service given by sales representatives or the workers that completed the service. Either way we still were left in the dark and was not explained how any of this works and was not provided what we were signing. I would really appreciate if this was made right and the fees were completely waived as I put trust into this company and that trust was broken.

****** came to my house and told me he could give a discount to help with my bug problem. He said it was $75 and then $39 quarterly. He said I had to pay by voided check. He charged every month and then when I called the lady said it would be $233 to cancel. She said I signed a contract but I dont remember signing anything for 12 months. He said I could cancel anytime. They would not share the owners name or number with me so I could get this fixed. I shouldnt be charged to cancel. The customer called the office to cancel service on 7/17/24. I went over the cancellation proceedure with the customer; if cancellation occurs before the one year agreement ends, the policy is that they consumer repay the discount on the initial service that was given. Man showed up at my door saying he was spraying my neighbors house and wanted to offer me a cheap rate because he was in the area. He said it would be $75 today and then $39 every 4 months. Told me the bugs he covered and did not cover and then said sign and someone will be here tomorrow. He did not tell me it was a contract! He said I could cancel anytime but preferred if I waited at least until after the second treatment. I realized they were billing me every month. My bugs were still there. And when I called to cancel they said I had to pay an almost $200 fee and I had 120 days. The minute she hung up the phone she charged my account. I was calling because I couldnt afford the $39 and she charged ne way more to cancel. just want a refund of the $195 because I didnt not agree to a contract! The company misleads people and then flashes a contract that was not explained or offered to view. I signed on an iPad and the only thing displayed for my viewing was a zoom in if the bugs and the signature space. I am rejecting this response because:I signed the service agreement for ******************************************************************************************************************* advance for and received. I specifically did want to be billed monthly which was why I paid one year upfront for services. The contract was exclusively for the 12 months (that I paid in full) in question which it clearly states in bold on the contract. If I wanted to add another year and change my payment method to monthly payments, a new contract would have been proposed and signed. Again, I have not received any additional services that I havent already paid for. Please be an honest business and do the right thing and not charge a customer for services they have not received.

I understand that I signed a one year contract, but before I signed with the tech the first day, I asked if I would have to take everything out of my cabinets because we are disabled. The Tech said "no maam" and I asked "ever" and he said no maam we will not make you if you are unable to do it. When the office lady called to tell me that we needed to pull everything out of the cabinets, I explained to her that we moved into this house and it was full. I am slowly cleaning it out and I asked if they still could come spray every two weeks for the roaches. She said no. That if I did not take everything out of the kitchen cabinets then no they would not come but every 3 months, so I told them to close my account. I would still love to have the service but I CANNOT take everything out of the cabinets. I did not see the early cancellation fee when I signed the contract but I still would have signed it because the tech TOLD me that I would not have to. I would like for the company to come spray every two weeks and I will keep paying them OR just not come back and NOT charge me a fee because I AM trying. This is a house full of disabled elderly people. I dont understant why we cant work this out?

I called them back and told them I want to cancel service. She said that would be $194 charge to my account for early cancellation. I asked if I didn't pay and she said it would go to collections after 120 days. I immediately called my bank and had them put a block on the charge. Tittan had already tried to charge my bank on a "reoccurring" charge and not on a regular one-time final payment so the bank was able to block it. I do not want it on my record, I just got a decent credit score. I want to support small local businesses but they cannot treat people this way. They acted like there was nothing I could do. I am sure they have done this to other elderly and disabled people. I didn't ask for a refund which is really what I wanted. I advised ****** of the Early Cancellation Fee to end her contract earlier than March of 2025 is $194.00. ****** stated that she wanted me to close out the account.
