My dad and sister have both been happy with their service here so I thought I would bring my car in and Im getting a feeling that theyre just lying to me and didnt wanna work on my car for some reason. Before they even knew what was wrong with my car the lady working here told me that they wouldnt be able to work on it. I asked them to check the engine light code anyways and when they told me what the problem was I asked if I could get a printed sheet with the prices and saying what needed to be done and she told me I was not allowed to have a printed copy because theyre not a full service shop. Im not entirely sure what a working printer has to do with the ability to work on cars but OK thanks I guess.

I was very happy with there quickness and quality of service. We were out of town and had a flat tie and visited Tate Boys Tire and Service. Not only did they fix our tire, but they also added air to our spare and put it back under the car. We were only there 18 minutes and then back on the road. We also had our 16 year old dog as she travels with us when we go out of town and they welcomed her in the store ~ that meant alot.

I got my oil changed Saturday, January 13th morning at Tate Boy's in downtown Bartlesville. Now my car is giving me these "mykey" notifications. It's limiting my acceleration, my top speed is capped, and no audio plays without the seatbelt being buckled, even if I'm in Park. The MyKey notifications come up on both my dash and infotainment displays about every 10 minutes or so and I have to hit "ok" in 2 separate places to get rid of them.
On the 15th I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours by a manager, and 4 days later I had to call them because no one contacted me or responded to my emails. I spoke with a manager from a different location this morning, then the manager of the downtown location this afternoon. The second manager told me he can't guarantee they'll be able to pay to fix it to how it was without proof they did it. It wasn't doing that when my car went in, but was when it came out
I spoke with our local Ford dealership and it is going to cost $287 (before tax) to get this taken care of. I HAVE to buy another key and have it programmed. I don't have $300 dollars lying around to do this. This is by far the most expensive oil change I have ever had, and I will never be going back to Tate Boys again.
I just want my car working again.

I had my vehicle serviced by Tate Boys a few months ago, and it appears that the work performed during that service has resulted in a larger issue with my vehicle. It seems that the service was not completed correctly, so I am reaching out in the hope that someone in your corporate office can assist me in promptly resolving this issue. I have been without my vehicle for seven weeks now, and this situation significantly impacts my livelihood. The initial work cost over 3 grand alone, and now your company is denying any fault, which is causing further distress. I have tried all these numbers and addresses to reach you all and none are operating at this time or else I would have tried you all there.

On September3, I took my 2007 Ford F150 into the shop around 9:30 a.m. and told the counter guy that it was vibrating when I turned to the right. I went with him out to look at my truck, and he said it was my tires being over 5 years old, and 1 was down to the "bar." So he sold me 4 new tires. I also asked him to check the alignment. He said he would call when it was finished. At 4:50, they still hadn't called so I called them. They said it was almost done. I went there, and they said the alignment was fine and I paid $900 for the tires. I left at 5:15 and they store was closed. It vibrates just the same on the way home.. 2 weeks later I took my truck to the 81st and Yale store, and they said it was the front end. They said the parts were so bad, the other store couldn't have checked the alignment. It cost me $2,400. I would never have invested that much money on this truck had I known what it would have cost at first. I didn't feel like trading it in after already putting on 4 new tires and spending $900 . I don't think this store's employees even checked my truck, they just sold me new tires. I won't go back there.
