      10/25/2024, i contacted ****** ****** Imports about purchasing a key fob w/ programming for my 08 ************* C300(blue). They said they would need the car to be towed to them. ****** ****** Imports connected me with a tow service that happened to be AAA and St Michaels Towing. St Michaels Towing came and towed my car to ****** ****** Imports. ****** ****** Imports was ready with my key fob on 10/30/2024. When I went to pick up my car that day, the battery was dead. And after getting a new battery my car still was not operating. The engine wouldnt start and the windows would not operate. However St Michaels Towing towed my Benz, it damaged the ESL(electronic steering lock). I informed the company about the damages and they said the best they could do was tow my car from ****** ****** to my address with a discount. I did not use their tow service. On 11/1/2024 I sent St Michaels Towing an estimate by ****** ****** Imports to repair my car, and also emailed them through BBB. I havent heard anything back from them.

      As stated on our conversation on the phone, Driver did not mess with steering column. There was nothing Driver could have done to mess up any module towing your car There was nothing documented that it even ran before we even got there. Thank you for the complaint. Have a nice day.

      I am rejecting this response because:   Clearly, forcing a steering wheel that is locked, and dragging the car while it is locked and can damage an ESL on a ********. The driver even mumbled that damage could be done if he didnt do it right. The car was definitely operable. I had just recently lost the key fob. St Michaels Towing damaged the vehicle and will be held responsible for repairs.

      Called to speak with towing company about a charge issue and the owner became very agitated and rude about the fact that I was requesting a refund on a charge that should have never charged for. Obviously, this tow company doesn't know how to tow a vehicle correctly. A company using vulger language towards customers is horrible customer.
