Had a scheduled photo session with LG photography on January 27, 2024. The deluxe package costing $595.00 that I paid was a for a gift to my son, daughter in law and 3 year old grandson. This gift was for the celebration of parenthood as my son and daughter had been fighting for custody for two years. Imagine the excitement when legal adoption finally took place. My intentions were to have this little newly bound documented with beautiful pictures. ****, owner of LG photography did not show up for the appointment. My family were waiting for her at a downtown *** location that they had agreed upon. She stated she had recorded the wrong appointment time even though my daughter in law had spoken on the phone about the appointment on the previous day. When my family was ready to use the gift certificate,It took over 4 months to get this appointment due to her delivery of many excuses and just dropping any communication all together.It was decided by my family to just go home and **** of LG photography stated that a full credit would be issued. They were very frustrated and disappointed by her poor communication, they were dressed for photo shoots and they had Three year old waiting in the vehicle.Today is March 11, 2024 and I have not received the credit. I have emailed her 10 times,Left voice messages 3 times,And several messages on Instagram and ******** messenger.She responded 2 times, first response on 2/2/2024 was blaming the entity that was suppose to issue the credit.Second response on 2/27/2024 was asking if I had PayPal (as a possible way to generate the refund), I responded yes, sent her my email address. I have not heard anything from her since.I messaged her that I would give her until the end of February to refund the $595.00 before I used alternative methods for collection.I have documentation. I booked a premium photo session for my family in July and made all required payments. The contract states that pictures are delivered after 4 weeks, but now, three months after the pictures were taken, I have yet to receive my pictures. I have emailed several and sent messages on different social media platforms. I received a response on September 23rd and was sent a gallery that was for an unknown person. I emailed back immediately, stating that the gallery was not mine, and still no response. I just read reviews here and on Yelp that many others have been scammed. On July 1, 2023 I found ********************* after she posted her link on The Best of 30A ******** page as the 30A photographer. I asked if she had availability to take photos of my family when I would be in *******. She said that yes, she had availability on July 14th. She emailed me a contract. One part of the contract said that I would receive a gallery of photos 30 days after the photo shoot with ***** edited photos. While she did not show up to take our photos, she did send her daughter to take photos on July 14th and the session went well. I reached out to her a few times in the month after that and did not get a response. On 3 pm on Monday August 14, 2023 I emailed and texted to inquire about our photo gallery. I got a return email shortly after saying, Give **** a few more days and she will get your gallery to you. On Friday I still had not received my photos. I emailed again, sent texts, and sent ******** messenger message, and commented on some of her ******** page posts. Upon reading reviews I found that many people do not get their photos OR their photos are not edited like she advertises. I just want my photos and if I cant get the photos, I want our money back. On Sunday I got a ******** messenger messenger in response to a post on her page that **** would get me my photos by today (Friday, August 25th). I did not hear back after that and still do not have my photos. I would like the photos I paid for, edited to the same standard that ********************* advertises on her ******** page and personal page.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract in June for $800 to take family photos in **********************, *******, which promised photos delivered 4 weeks after photo shoot. The photo shoot took place on July 6, 2023. Four weeks after the photo shoot we did not receive our photos. I have emailed multiple times, I have called and left at least two voicemails, I have sent numerous text messages and have received no response. It is now over eight weeks and have not received a response or the photos. It is clear I will never be seeing them and not getting my money back. I booked ********************* to take sunset photos of our family on the beach in *****************, **. I saw pictures she posted online ( her website and ******** groups), and immediately was drawn to the editing/colorful photos she advertises. Turquoise water, blue skies, etc. I specifically chose ********************* for that reason. Our photos were taken on May 27th and the contract signed states photos would be delivered 1 month after the session date. The full balance of ****** was collected before the session took place. **************** was sure to send me the invoice for the balance to be paid in full prior to the session taking place. At the 1 month **** after the session date, when I did not hear back from ****************, I emailed her. I received a response that the gallery would be 'ready soon, to give **** a few more days'. When I did not hear back from Ms. ***** after 2 additional weeks of waiting, I emailed her again. Finally, on July 17th, she emailed me the gallery. This was 7 weeks after the session date ( 3 weeks later than what was promised). I was ok waiting as long as I got the product I paid for. The gallery is not edited anywhere close to what she advertises. There are no turquoise water, no blue skies, but a desert looking shoot , with everything bright orange and pale. It appears to me that **** rushed through the editing and just sent it out to get it over with. After my disappointing gallery, I went on ****** and yelp to read reviews of her company and was horrified. She has had so many negative reviews and complaints against her. I emailed **************** THREE times asking her politely to re-edit the photos to show the bright and beautiful colors she advertises, but she has not replied to a single email. SHE SIMPLY IGNORES THE PROBLEM, which makes for an unsatisfied customer. I did not get what I paid for, and I want others to know about it. I am requesting a refund for the session or for **************** to re-edit the photos.Customer Answer

The owner of LG photography has not responded to my complaint. What is the next course of action at this point? She continues to get negative reviews on ****** for the same issue I have encountered with her product. Please help!

Signed a Contract. Photos have not been delivered. I have tried multiple times to contact her, but absolutely no responses. I paid $200 retainer and then $417.50 due the day before the photographs were taken. She showed up, took about 15 minutes of photos and have never heard from her again. The photographer offered a mini session on photographs done at Mt ***** on 4/9/23. I prepaid the fee as was required and then they offered the date to be changed to 4/16/23 as 4/9/23 was Easter Holiday. I selected to change to 4/16/23 and we met to take photographs. My husband and I met the team on top of Mt ***** at the arranged time on 4/16/23 and the photo session occurred. I asked the photographer (who was NOT *********************) when I could expect our photos back and was told "no more than 6 weeks from today" which would be 5/28/23. I emailed them on 5/25/23 asking for a status and received a response saying "I do apologize for the delay. **** is playing catch up this next week since she will have more time in *******. Please give ** **** business days to get those to you. She will include extra images for the delay."I emailed back on 06/09/23 (10 business days post email above, excluding the Memorial Day holiday), and got no reply. I emailed again on 6/12/23 with no reply. I emailed again on 6/13/2023 and got no reply. I emailed on 6/14/23 stating I would be filing a complaint with BBB if I didn't receive a reply. No reply.I have also been texting the number provided with the same as above and no reply (5/24, 6/11, 6/13 (they replied that they were looking for them now), 6/13 afternoon I asked for an ETA X2, 6/14 no reply X2 and instructed I would be filing a complaint with BBB.Customer Answer

I did receive direct contact from the business. They emailed me on 7/20 with: I know **** reached out by text. We sent the refund. When **** gets done with your gallery she will still send out the photos for you. I am sorry you went through a longer wait on things. ***** ongoing divorce is taken so much out of her time. She has fallen behind but is doing her best right now on editing and catching up.I hope you understand and let us know if you ever need anything else.
They refunded my money on 7/20 and then sent the (7) images on 7/29. This issue can be closed, but I would recommend they still have an impact on their score.
I have also been subsequently blocked by the company on their FB.

I purchased two sessions in July 2022. One of the sessions was cancelled twice. When they were rescheduled for the third time she changed the entire set up and would not respond with how the set up would look until about an hour before. Both sets of pictures were taken by her daughter. I didn’t pay for a high school kid to take my photos first of all. When I got the pictures back they looked horrible and weren’t edited. She told me she’d fix the editing and I told her that she could wait until after Christmas to fix them because she was going through a divorce. She never fixed them and when I contacted her she said she wasn’t going to fix them. I asked her to refund my money along with the subscription service because I never received those pictures either and the ones I received were months late. After I posted about this on Facebook I’ve had so many people contact me and say she’s done the same to them or even worse. Her contract also states she’ll have the photos done in 6 weeks. I purchased Santa pictures in July 2022 to be taken November 11th 2022 with ****. We paid $228.We take them 11/11 as planned. However, **** is not in the studio as advertised- its her teenage daughter taking pictures. We were given roughly 3-5 minutes in front of a camera and then told it was the next families turn. This wasnt at all what I expected when paying full price for a session.She claimed these pictures would be back no later than 12/10. I sent multiple emails without a response, ******** messages, etc. no response. On 12/10 I comment on a photo on her page simply asking when we would receive the Santa pictures and she deleted my comment without responding. I comment again, asking again when I would get the photos and she deletes the comment again and blocks me. She emails immediately saying shes refunding me. Its now 12/14 and I havent received my Santa pictures or received the refund she claims to have sent.
