    On 2/28/2023 I went to WC website to register my account and pay my bill. I noticed there was a different amount online vs what my invoice states. I call the company and spoke with Crystal, I asked her to pull my account and see if there is a different amount on her file for me. She said I’m past due by 60 days, the invoice I have has a statement date of 2/01/2023 with a due date of 01/20/2023, I’m not sure where the 60 days came from, nonetheless she told me I have a late fee applied. I told her that the invoice I have does not explain that a late fee would be applied and I proceeded to read her my bill word for word, she then told me I have a finance fee and she does not know what else I want her to say. I asked to speak to someone that could, she told me that that would be Kyle and he would call me the next morning. After hanging up I tried to pay my bill 3 xs online, all attempts failed due to how their system is set up with late invoices being paid, so I called the billing number to make my payment of the original invoice amount, $159.25. On 3/06/2023 I received a new invoice with a statement dated of 3/01/2023 with the previous balance and a FINANCE charge of $7.96 along with a note stating my services have been suspended. They can see I paid my bill before making the new invoice, before suspending my account and before adding a finance charge, that I have no idea what that is since I do not finance anything with this company. It is 3/07/2023 and I have yet to receive a call from Kyle. This company is shady, they are monopolizing off this area, this company is the only trash company serving this area.

    I spoke customer and I listened to her frustration on the billing mixup. She seemed satisfied with my explanation and i stated i would remove her finance charges. She stated she would also remove the complaint.

    Waste connection of Oklahoma bought out RSDI which was **************** in ***** County OK. I have for the past 4 years paid for an entire year in advance for my service each March. This new company takes over and starts to charge me in December. When I emailed them and told them I was already paid they responded they do not accept this and I have to pay. I paid and nothing was to be due till March, we'll I now receive another bill that is past due, it is more than 50% of what I already paid. I'm really not happy.

    I have reached out to **************** and explained why he had a balance. It was due to a rate increase that happened during the year. I offered to credit the remaining bill.  Tell us why here...

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

     

    They agreed to credit the past due I am still waiting for this

    If they do not I open another complaint
