Paycor is attempting to collect a charge of $4,511.98 under the claim that I terminated my account early and failed to provide 30 days’ notice. I never submitted a written request to terminate the account and have repeatedly asked Paycor to provide proof. They have not done so.

On January 13, 2025, Paycor stated that my account was closed based on a notification received on January 8, 2025. I informed them I never submitted this notification and requested proof of any such termination request. None has been provided.

Despite the dispute, on April 21, 2025, I received a collection notice for Invoice #*********** (totaling $4,511.98), plus a $15 late fee. Paycor’s justification was “early termination” due to lack of written notice and promotional fee recovery. Again, I never canceled in writing and did not stop cooperating with implementation.

In early May 2025, Paycor sent another notice stating they attempted to debit my bank account for the disputed amount, which failed. They also stated they may re-debit without notice, despite my clear rejection of the charge.

Per our agreement, an Implementation Recovery Fee may apply only if I:

Fail to run payroll within 6 months,

Request termination before first payroll, or

    Fail to cooperate with onboarding.

None of these apply. I never requested termination, I did cooperate, and Paycor has not shown otherwise.

Yet they continue to pursue collection and attempted an unauthorized bank debit. Their actions appear coercive and violate fair billing and collection practices. I request:

    Immediate cessation of collection attempts

Written confirmation that the invoice is voided

No further debit attempts without clear contractual proof
