Currently, I have been on hold for over an hour just trying to speak with an actual person. I have been waiting for six months for this company to complete my QDRO (transferring assets during a divorce) This company’s customer service is an absolute nightmare.

A few months ago I tripped over my dog fell. My face went numb so I go to the ** that same day. Fidelity didnt pay for that claim. They rejected my claim saying I didnt have an accident. This past Monday it had been flooding so much. I went to open up a big gate leading to my driveway. I have property and have horses and live on a farm and the gate is 16 feet long. The gate undone and pinned me under it slicing my wrist and jamming my toe and that was like at night time so I didnt go right to the urgent care emergency room until the next day. The next day my hand was swollen so urgent care did X-rays to make sure I didnt have a cracked wrist. The urgent care and it says in the paperwork clearly that its an accident. This American Fidelity company is giving me a hard time on this claim. Today, Im going to my regular doctor to look at to make sure that its healing. I bet you they wont pay that either. I get this accident policy through my work And there is no way Im renewing it and Im gonna make sure I let all the employees know through the employer ******** to not get involved at this company. They are horrible. Theyre rude. They demand so much paperwork, not too mention very slow. I am paying for an accident policy but American Fidelity have no compassion or they claimed they follow everything to the ** No, they dont because my paperwork clearly said I had an accident and they wont pay it. Run as fast as you can from this insurance agency,

On June 19, 2025, you provided the requested information. On June 27, 2025, we completed our review, processed the claim, and provided applicable policy benefits. We reviewed the claim you submitted on June 16, 2025 and provided applicable policy benefits on June 27, 2025. You pay way more than you benefit. It is constant back and forth on the phone, uploading documents. I would have done better to put my insurance premiums into a savings account; therefore as soon as we are allowed to update insurance in the fall, I will be dropping all my coverage and increasing my *********** example that cost me hours was they denied a 500+ copay for my hospital stay. I HAD to pay the copay upon being admitted. I turned in the receipt from the copay along with the hospital ****, showing that my copay minus the insurance payment left a zero **** balance. They denied the copay because the **** said "patient owes zero balance". Well, of course, after copay and insurance the balance is zero. The copay wasn't optional, but they instructed me to call the hospital and request a refund to repay my FHA card, as they had locked it due to this transaction. My card still had ***** dollars of my money on it but I am unable to use it unless I eat the copay.

I find it strange how they sell 403(b)s but can't go over the performance and matrix for their retirement plans. What type of insurance company did my employer offer me? This company barely knows what that offer. ******* ****** is much better.

Our company provides supplemental retirement products for use in 403(b) and 457(b) plans and we provide standardized and non-standardized monthly/quarterly performance reports that can be obtained directly from an agent or from our website. We also offer sample allocation models that customers may choose to use as guides for their investments should they desire, but since these models represent asset allocations, we do not provide returns as each individual customer may choose to use or not use them at their discretion.
Individualized performance is not automatically available currently but can be provided. We are currently upgrading systems so that we can individually report on performance over any customer selected time period, which will be available on statements, website or from an agent.

Tore 3 muscles, filed for short term disability (which I pay for) and was denied even though I filed all paper work required. I would not recommend purchasing any insurance from this scam of a company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views. As a family-owned insurance Company with over 60 years in business, providing protection for our insureds is a top priority and we strive to maintain strong relationships with our insureds. We are committed to providing quality insurance products and care to our valued insureds. We apologize for any negative interaction you had with our colleagues. We first received your claim form on October 18, 2024 where you indicated your injury was work related. Your policy does not provide benefits for work related disability. Since we received conflicting information from your physician, we made multiple attempts to confirm the basis of your injury so we could process your claim and issue a determination. As of November 19, 2024, we have confirmed with your employer that your injury was not work related. Now that we have confirmed this information, we are able to consider your recent claim for benefits. A complete review of your claim is still in progress, and we will be in touch soon regarding the outcome.

American Fidelity made an agreement with several schools in the state to give free bene admin if he school lyet then hold our enrollment hostage and forced all staff to individually make in person appointments to listen to sales pitches. I question schools selling their employee's out like this firstly. Even if a noncash transaction, they still sold out information out. Then, to make matters worse, you cannot sign up for benefits without them taking over your computer in a screen sharing application. So you cannot read over things in your own time nor do simple enrollment tasks on your own. The whole thing is shady. We have opted to make a formal complaint with the ****************************** as I cannot imagine doing benefits while being forced to have the person watch you sign up. Any other company you can sign up online and read on your own time.

We apologize for any negative interaction you had with our colleagues.Your employer is a new employer working with American Fidelity and we recently completed open enrollment for next plan year. We do provide employers benefits enrollment assistance to help the human resources department with this demanding task. We have found that a high percentage of employees find it helpful to meet one on one to have someone explain benefits options and the enrollment process. Accordingly, our Colleagues do meet with employees to educate them about their employers benefit plans and assist with enrollment. However, all employees are free to choose the benefit plans that are right for them and their families, just as with any other type of benefit plan open enrollment.

Its bad enough dealing with the grief of my mothers death, but then having to deal with a company like American Fidelity who has zero customer service just add insult to Injury. They send documents via email that are incomprehensible. When you call and try to ask questions, no one can answer it. No one replies to the emails youre supposed to send the documents via email into some black hole. I would never ever ever ever do business with this company and make my beneficiaries have to deal with it.

I have had policies with American Fidelity for several years through my employer. Each year the issues with claims processing has gotten worse and worse. I will not be renewing my elective benefit policies with them this year and me and other coworkers will be pushing our employer of several thousand employees to find another provider. American Fidelity finds any and every reason to deny claims even on Flexible Spending Accounts which is my own money.

Submitting a document like an EOB which includes all necessary information will increase reimbursement processing. The documentation rules generally apply with the Benefits Debit Card as well. Having a certain disability.I applied for this through my work and they put all the paperwork in faxed it to them. until this day they still saying they can't find my paperwork. it is a group disability coverage. They make it extra hard on the website to get any information. They tell you to register then After you put in all the information they request as employee from your ************ says that you don't exist. Even after My employer sent in the paperwork weeks ago. They faxed it in. It is inhumane That you, as a group coverage, get the run around when you really need the help. I called ******* times and they do not know how to help me. I am suspicious that they make it hard for people because they don't want to help People during their hardship.
