    February 28th 2023 I purchased a 2018 **** Edge after having the car less than 60 days the car started running hot overheating I pulled over and called David Stanley's on i-240 and ask for help they sent a tow truck to pick the car up had it delivered to David Stanley service department I was called and was told that the motor was gone and the vehicle and there was nothing that they could do for me to help me I was not offered an extended warranty when I purchased the car. After doing some research I did find that the **** edges from 2014 to 2018 has lots of recalls issues with those vehicle and especially with the motor overheating. The used car manager tell me there was nothing that they could do for me didn't offer any type of resolution the car has ****** miles on it when I purchased it the car now is right at $70, 000 mi on it I didn't drive the car out of town I only used it for getting back and forth to work here and in the city it never displayed any type of warning that it was running hot not until Wednesday March the 19th so I haven't had the car 60 days and now they're telling me the motor is completely gone and I am responsible for that. I feel like I was taking advantage of because they knew something was wrong with the car cuz it was a trade in but no one bothered to check the car out before sending the car back out with someone purchasing the car there has been several recall issues for the 2014 to ******************************************************** back and forth to work I traded in a ********************************************************************************************************************************** whole again and they refuse. I was told by a salesman in the used dealer side that the used manager said no we're not doing anything that's her car that's her problem. I'm not asking for a brand new vehicle I was only asking for that car to be made whole again so I can pay for a car that I signed for.
