I was a long-time customer of ********************** (Tag) for my home in ******, ********. When my house flooded in 2023 because of a burst pipe due to freezing temperatures, I called the Alarm Group to make repairs to the alarm system, which I was charged for. However, the repairs were not made properly and the alarm system did not function properly after this. The alarm malfunctioned frequently going off randomly at all hours of the night and day. I repeatedly called the company to solve this problem. Despite two technician visits, the alarm was not fixed and would go off frequently o. And even when the alarm would go off I never received a call from the Alarm Group that my house alarm was going off. In other words, they did not even provide the service they claimed to provide and which I was paying for.I called their offices repeatedly to have the company solve this problem but they did not do so. However, I continued to be billed for services that I was not receiving (alarm service and monitoring for my house). I also told the Alarm group representatives on the phone (on multiple occasions to either fix the problem so that my alarm would function properly) or discontinue service and billing. Finally, in January 2025 I received a call from **** at the Alarm Group. She claimed that I owed them money. I explained the situation and my previous attempts to have the alarm system repaired. It was only at this point that she informed me that only if I sent a letter in writing with my signature would the service (which I wasnt receiving in the first place) be discontinued. I did so immediately. I informed **** of my new address and the address which all correspondence should be sent to over the phone and in my signed letter sent to her. This is fraud and unless this matter is resolved I will contact the Oklahoma Attorney General, the Oklahoma Consumer Protection Unit, the **************************** (Alarm and ******************** and ************************.
