      If I could give no stars I would. I drive a 2009 F150 which had a engine blow back in 2021 ok well then I bought a package deal for them to pay half the price, in Dec 2023 it blew again the mechanic got it all together they cover half and my half was $1,600. finally everything was paid off and I was informed that there was a problem and they were sending my truck to the Ford dealership for a second look comes to find out I was sent a faulty engine HOW AWESOME. I informed the company and the warranty what was going on, I was told that they will be sending in a new engine in replace of that. I stated that I'm going through a divorce with 2 boys and I can not pay another $1,600 for a faulty engine, they stated we will work it out. I felt weight off my shoulders.. Jokes on me, it took about 8 months for it to come in and a month for them to send in their check, when the check finally came in, I still ended up with a bill of $1,600. I called warranty spoke with a ********* & a **** they stated that they sold the engine to power train and that I would have to contact the customer service , THEN I called the customer service line and spoke with a *** and he told me that there is nothing that they can do. I've played cat and mouse with these people for weeks and weeks. Finally I had enough and I stated this is really ****** business, I was told I do not believe so by ***. I just simply stated that I paid for a faulty engine and have to pay again after I told this would be taken care. I hope you guys sleep well after selling ****** product and making people pay double.

      I purchased a motor from Powertrain and brought it down to Mexico. They knew I was taking it to ****** and never mentioned the warranty limitations. Literally 4 months after installation all of the engine oil disappeared. I am now stuck down here with a motor that does not work. **************** was not only not helpful, but they were rude. I know have to figure out how to get this motor to the border and see if the next motor they send works.....

      With 6 months invested getting a motor to my mechanic, only to find out I have to pay to install it and get reimbursed after the fact... and now 6 more months after it's been completed and no reply from your company on getting paid for the remaining warranty coverage you required me to cover. Repeated inquiries go unanswered. I will never buy another motor from this company. Terrible customer service.

      Remanufactured transmission. Excellent product....Excellent sales rep..and great customer service. Very fast in returning my calls, and addressing any concerns I may have had. I highly recommend this company.

      Spent 3 days shopping dozens of reman engine company's. Found Powertrain Engines Steven Butz and all the other company's looked like Liers trying to push older block engines that were not a match for my Truck! Repair shop now only buys Powertrain due to the engine package that other company's don't supply. Engine runs so quiet cannot hear run during idle. Save Money Time and aggravation contact Steve for your Engine & Trans needs a real Straight Shooter

      Very dissatisfied customer! I purchased an engine that was defective and now I have to use their warranty. I also called the company (within their stated timeframe) to have the core picked up and they never picked it up! Now they took $560.00 out of my account because they did not do their part! They are saying they won't return my money until they have the core, even though I adhered to my part of the agreement. I should have never been charged because they did not do their job!

      I purchased and transmission, got it installed at a professional shop. Transmission was defective and leaking fluid immediately after install. Took back to shop and problem was inside tyranny somewhere. Powertrain sent 2nd transmission. I have been out my truck for many months and the warranty people say they will not cover all the labor because my shop charges $80 an hour and they only cover $50 an hour. The warranty says up to $500 in labor and fluid. My bill is only a little over $600. You would think they would pay it all but they say no we will pay $300. This company is getting over on me. It is not my problem that powertrain sold me a defective transmission. It has cost me much money and several months without my truck. I would never use this company ever again. All I ask is that they pay the $678.45 . Be reasonable.they don't even want to reimburse me for any rental or inconvenience money. Completely unprofessional in a business aspect.

We include "nofault" coverage on every possible item we sell, that is how you were able to get another transmission without first inspecting the problemed transmission. We offer a gold warranty where applicable that covers rental car and higher per hour labor rates. Im glad your vehicle is back on the road and no more problems arise.
