    In May 2023, I agreed to have windows installed in my ****** house by ***** *****, who operates under Stones Window Works, LLC. - **********************************, and previously operated under the name of ***************************. I subsequently wrote him a check for $5,100 (half down) to move forward with the install. After months of excuses blaming the window company for delays, I finally called the window company directly only to find out that the window order was never placed. After that discovery, I asked him for an explanation and he ghosted me shortly thereafter in late 2023. I have now gone to small claims court in **************** two times. The first time he actually showed up, and we mediated an agreement for him to pay me back, and he made one payment and ghosted me again. I went back to court a second time, and he didnt show up, and I now have a judgment against him for the remaining amount plus court costs. After posting what he did to me on multiple websites, other victims have reached out to me with similar situations with ***** ***** taking their money and not performing what was initially agreed upon. The purpose of my review is to stop this from happening to other people and to warn other people of his unethical business practices.
