I am rejecting this response because: Tinker Federal Credit Union is using arbitrary rules to cover their lack of customer service. ********************** flat out lied by saying they attempted to contact me, but to be honest their lack of integrity & professional accountability is shameful, and to include a military installation in your name is a slap in the face to any military service. Since BBB is unable to provide any satisfactory resolution, I will be contacting the State Attorney General and the *****

I am rejecting this response because: You are trying to hold information for one transaction, that has been settled per the terms agreed to by both parties, to another transaction that has nothing to do with another. Which looks like you are holding my ability to conduct future transactions hostage, to try and get a result from a previous transaction that did not work out the way you planned. I am not in the financial industry, but it sound like questionable business practices, and I am pretty sure that it may be against the law. So you can take this anyway you like but I will be contacting a lawyer, will be lodging a complaint via the ******************************, the Federal ***************** and the ****. Bullying and intimidation are not the business practices of an honest financial institution, which so far you have lived up to.
Sincerely,

I obtained an auto loan March 2024. As required, I've had full coverage insurance the entire time. I had a $2k deductible with my previous insurance. I switched insurance in December and Tinker requested a copy of the dec page for my new insurance. They are stating it's their policy that my deductible max be $1k. This was not disclosed when I closed the loan. I've had this loan for almost a year with a $2k deductible with my prior insurance. I called to ask why I have to have a $1k deductible if I'm comfortable with $2k. The *** stated "its' their policy and would've been in the contract I signed." When I asked where, she placed me on hold. She then stated it wasn't in the contract but in the paperwork they sent me after I closed the loan. I asked how they can force me to have a $1k deductible with my insurance if it wasn't disclosed at closing it's a requirement and they supposedly sent me a document after the fact stating it's required. I would've chosen a different lender if that had been disclosed up front. I asked for an exception and she just stated no exceptions are made. It's unethical to require a max insurance deductible that is not disclosed on the contract or at the time of closing. I am comfortable with a $2k deductible and purchased gap insurance for a reason.Business Response

We submitted a convenience check to pay a creditor in March 2024. The balance due was full paid on 07/24/2024 ($5,678.68). In Sept 2024, we received a statement reflecting a balance due reflecting past due cash advance interest for $29.83 and $25.27 purchases. The purchase *** is for an annual renewal fee ($25) however the interest charge is not correct. TFCU records show they continue to charge interest 08/09/2024 after the account was fully satisfied on 07/24. I called *************** at least three times, and nobody could give us a straight answer. They only wanted to say it is just calculated that way and placed blame on us. We requested the interest be waived since it was applied after we full paid the balance due. I went into TFCU ****** ******, and they provided me with the payoff figure, $5,678.68. TFCU customer service refused to eliminate the bogus interest and has still not provided any explanation.Business Response

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a concern regarding the ***orting of my mortgage payment with Tinker Federal. On August 30, 2024, I made my mortgage payment, ensuring it was completed prior to 30 days past due. The *** stated on payment date it was 28 days. I received confirmation of this payment being posted on the same day. Despite my efforts to maintain timely payments, I was surprised to find an inaccurate ***ort indicating that my payment was late, which has negatively impacted my credit score by 40 points.I have taken steps to address this issue by filing ***orts with both the ************************************ and the Better Business Bureau regarding the inaccurate ***orting. However, I believe it is essential for Tinker Federal to review this matter internally as well. The incorrect ***orting has significant implications for my family's future home purchase plans. I kindly request that you look into this situation and consider the evidence I have attached, which includes proof of my timely payment.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue fairly.Best regards,Business Response

This has been happening off and on now for the last three years!! For whatever reason, Tinker Federal credit Union decides to place stop payments on my credit card payments made online subsequently I get charged late fees and get dings on my credit report and trying to get this resolved with the customer. Service is nothing more than a joke. These ladies are rude. They hardly ever answer the phone and they dont seem to be there to help at all. They operate their delinquent balances policy like a mob boss. They take out there fees in such a way that any following transactions will create more fees. I had overdraft protection up to $1000, I was having another problem with them stopping payments so I sent in some negative feedback through their app and within two days a fiery female voice left a nasty message saying that if I wanted to put them down then She was going to remove my overdraft protection permanently. I didnt think one individual at a credit union had that kind of power but boy was I wrong. My overdraft protection was removed and any attempt to regain it has been denied. Went into TFCU to make my auto payment and update my billing preference. Upon doing business the teller informed me that I am a month ahead of schedule and can skip a payment. After giving me my receipt of proof of payment it included my balance, but after calling back to get my payoff I was informed that my balance wasn't what was reported on the receipt, and the option of a payment being skipped wasn't in the system, with a indeed payment for the month. Horrible system error and don't feel I should be subject to the misinformation.Business Response

I recently discovered that I am a victim of identity theft. While reviewing my credit report, I noticed an account that was opened in my name without my knowledge or consent. I immediately contacted the creditor to request proof of my authorization for this account. However, I have yet to receive any documentation or evidence from the creditor that verifies I initiated or authorized the opening of this account. Given the lack of evidence provided by the creditor, it is clear that this account does not belong to me and has been opened fraudulently using my personal information. Here are the details related to this incident that I found in my credit report.Account Name: ********************** FCU Account Number: ************ Opened Date: Feb 21, 2020 Higher Credit: $1,031Business Response

My mother has Alzheimers disease. In the process of getting approval for long term care, 5 years of bank statements are required. My brother is joint account holder on the account, and we have a *** with my brother being the one in charge. Despite these two things, Tinker refused to give the bank statements needed. They found a minor discrepancy of a date on the power of attorney and refused to honor it. We have since sold a house (after an attorney review of the **** but it wasnt good enough for them. I get the feeling there would have always been some issue with the **** The *** should have never even been in the equation since my brother is a joint account holder. They took an already tragic situation and purposely made it worse.Business Response

In January, 2024, TFCU received a request from DHS signed by your brother, who is not a joint owner on all of your mothers accounts, for 5 years of bank statements . In order to complete the request to DHS, TFCU later received a *** naming your brother as the attorney-in-fact for your mother. On January 22, 2024, TFCU honored the *** and mailed your mothers statements to DHS. TFCU has received no additional requests from DHS.Initial Complaint
