My PG&E gas was changed over to AAA Energy, Well not even changed actually. Without my knowing it, this company was added to my bill, along with PG&E. And to stop service, there is a $100 cancelation fee to remove something you didn't want and didn't even know you were getting. Since you can't leave a zero rating. I have to give a 1.

There needs to be a stop to they way this unethical company does business! I will be submitting a lawsuit against them. Looks like I will be able to put a good case together due to all the similar complaints/experiences. They called my elder non English speaking mother, she did not understand what the clerk was trying to market on her other than he said "do you want to lower your PG&E bill". She never gave even verbal authorization but was enrolled. When a letter arrived at mother's she was alarmed and stated she never gave her ok to enroll. I called and the clerk stated they had recorded audio of the authorization. I asked them to email that to me because my mother ask for Spanish speaker and they said no. At that point AAA violate the fact that she does not understand English but yet proceed to enroll without her consent. I have been calling everyday, getting the run around. It took them a week to provide me the audio, do you know why?.. Because they fabricated it, the audio is not my mother voice, in fact its an old lady speaking English, in which my mother is non English speaking. The audio is so poorly fabricated it made me laugh. I am beyond disgusted reading all the complaints on how it's targeted to seniors, seniors on fixed incomes, seniors who do now know how to defend themselves, vulnerable. This company should not be allowed to do business, not in the matter they are going about it!!

my elderly mother was called and tricked into this same scam. When I called, you cannot cancel without paying $100. This is for fixed income, senior citizen with memory loss. I am extremely upset and I’m looking for legal options to pursue this terrible practice and this scam. When I called PG&E, the person who answered, said the same thing happened to her and she does not agree with PG&E allowing this. There is no signed agreement. They say it’s verbal and that it’s valid and there’s no way to change it and PGE does not help either. This is shameful and we need to stop it and this company is, using these supposed outside sales agents and they’re not firing them and they’re continuing this practice. I want my mothers account to change back to PG&E. I want nothing to do with this terrible horrible company that would use predatory practices on senior citizens and have no way of addressing it .

I want to echo ******* *'s complaint about AAA Energy. The representative, George, who called, represented himself as an authorized representative of PG&E. He me asked the same/similar questions as *******'s representative....if I received a senior discount. We also said no. What really bothered me is that he recorded part of our conversation and had me repeat answers that he gave me to say: Do you agree to this? Just say yes. Say you don't have your bill in front of you...when I did have it in front of me. If I hadn't been insistent in call over the next two days (They're closed Friday-Sunday), I wouldn't have after the third day to void the agreement and would have to pay $100 for cancelling the agreement. George was a deceptive representative would tarnish any company he worked for. I'm keeping all my notes if on down the line I am charged by this unscrupulous organization.

    Hello,

AAA will reach out to the outside marketing company who is calling as this is not an internal agent for us.

This company is still scamming people in November 2023 they say they are from PG&E and say you can save money ask for account number if you are a senior citizen address if you pay out of pocket. Then they send letter saying you are enrolled in AAA gas company even though you did not agree or signed anything I don't know why they have not been stopped I have reported them to government fraud alert and PG&E I hope they get ARRESTED and CAUGHT for their crimes F------ LIER'S next is to go to a news channel and report them.

We were getting bombarded by a tele-marketing company at least 5 times a day and every time we asked them to please remove our number from their list as we are not interested. The tele-marketing said that if we want to be removed from the list, we have to listen to what they are offering. So we decided to go through the process. They represented themselves as part of PG&E and asked if we have received senior citizen discount from PG&E. We said no. The call took half an hour for them to ask many questions that many of them were repetitive. At the end they said we will receive a letter in a few days that we have a chance to sign up for discounted service. In three days we received a letter from a company called AAA Natural Gas that we have signed up our gas services through them. We received the letter on weekend and we called the number for AAA Natural Gas on the letter to say that we have been scammed. But found out the company is closed on weekends. Who wants service from a gas company that is closed on weekend for emergency cases. On Monday we called and the customer service insisted that we agreed on recording that we want their service. We insisted that there was no such a case and ask for recording to be sent to us in which we never received. As I write this feedback, they finally agreed to cancel our service. We will find out. It seems that they want to sell their services for 60 days before you can cancel. Their way of business to scam people and call us 5 times a day even when we are on do not call list and requested many times to be removed from their list is unacceptable business practice to acquire and trick people joining their services all while representing themselves as part of PG&E. I wish I could rate this company -5 stars as I am forced to give them even a star
