    Sent BCF Minerals (BCFM) fully executed closing documentation for sell of family mineral rights vie email on May 22, 2024, as requested by ****. On May30 I sent **** via *************** overnight envelope original, notarized documentation, as requested. ***** tracking number indicates arrival and signed by ****, May31 at 2:34pm. I have reached out numerous times via email to **** ******* ****** and cc'd her associates and have NEVER had a favor of a reply. NOT ONE. Last message sent July 27 to *******, **** *******, **** ******** and, ***** ******** all of **** and advised of filling formal complaint w Tulsa BBB where 15+ other complaints in past 3 years have been filled over same negligence, no communication and or breach of contract. Seeking immediate BCMF payment of minerals rights amount due me in the amount of $6,250.01

    My mother, for whom I am the power of attorney, was contacted by *********************** of BCF Minerals LLC wanting to buy her oil royalties. She entered into a contract with them on March 12, 2024 and sent the documents to them. I contacted ****************** on 3/22/2024 and 3/25/2024 via email. He did not respond, so I called him. He did not know the status, but said it would take awhile to process the check, and that the bank had to look over the paperwork and they processed several at a time. Today, 5/16/24, I emailed ****************** saying this was taking an unreasonably long time and asked for information. There has been no response from him. I did a ****** search for BCF Minerals, and found several complaints about the company, just like this one, in which they delay payment. They are not responsive to my inquiries and are not paying the money that they have agreed to pay in the contract.

    On October 25, 2023 I signed and excepted an offer from BCF Minerals to purchase minerals I own in both ****** and ******** counties in ********. They did their research and on the 15th of December ******* emailed me the closing documents. I was instructed to sign, have notarized then copy and email to them so they could make sure everything was correct. I did this and they said we were all good. They told me to ***** the documents to them. I did this on December 20, 2023, they received and signed for them on December 21, 2023. Everyone was very nice with fast responses up until this point. Then nothing, I waited a couple weeks before my 1st call, was told the checks were on the desk, they were short handed, should be out in the next week. I have called many times since then and always get a run around. They have said numerous times they think that they paid too much so it was taking more time. Excuse after excuse for my not receiving my check. Finally on March 25, 2024 I told them, I Do Not want the check or to do business with them I just want my deeds returned now. So to please send me a tracking number on the return mailing. After a day or two they agreed they would return them. However, I have still not received a tracking number and only "we are working on it." and more excuses. There has been no contact with them that was initiated by them only when I have called. ******* and the ******* are the only people I have delt with and I have never have talked to anyone but the front man. I have emailed ******* but never hear back. Very poor company to deal with.

    On 4/22/2024 I proceeded to contact an attorney on the problem with BCF since I had heard nothing from them.  Finally, I was contacted yesterday by my attorney saying he now had the deeds in his procession. So I am hoping this case is resolved. 

    BCF is not a good company in my opinion stay away.

    We accepted an offer (creating a contract) from BCF to purchase mineral rights on October 24, 2023. After the 30-day Pre closing period, we received and completed all closing documents, delivering to BCF on December 16, 2023 as required by BCF. Per the contract, closing including payment was to happen within 10 Business Days. Since this time we have made numerous attempts to get payment, some sort of information on when we might expect payment. When we do manage to get a response, it is "I don't know", of "We will look into it" etc. The unprofessional manner we have been treated with is unimaginable to me. We simply want BCF to fulfill the contract that they wrote. Note that they made the initial contact for the purchase.

    I signed the closing documents of minerals on November the 22nd of 2023. And I still haven't received my payment for the minerals. They keep giving me the run around

    Signed the closing documents and notarized on Nov 22 2023, have not heard from this company yet or received a check yet. I have emailed requesting funds be wired but have not received confirmation on the funds yet

    On may 9 2023 I received an offer from BCF MINERALS for an offer to buy my mineral rights on net mineral acres ******* royalty ***** lessee Tex-Star production sec 21 TWN 16N county kingfisher ok after signing papers on may 23 2023 that I agree to the price they were offering me and then July 28 2023 I sign the final papers I had notarized and the w-9 and mailed back to them that day and after many attempts of calling them and getting the run around with no answers and I still havent been paid and also I will mention my brother sold his part the same time I did he has received his ******* weeks ago but I havent receive anything and Im not sure why their not paying me but I would appreciate any help I can get cause BCF Minerals arent going to but I will sure let my other siblings that chose not to sell right now not to use BCF Minerals

    June 20, 2023 we contacted ******** Sherrod, Landman, BCF Minerals, offering to sell our mineral rights of about 6.6 mineral acres in Canadian County, **.August 10, 2023 our signed acceptance for a BCF Minerals Offer to Purchase arrived at their office in *****, **.November 8,2023, 12 weeks later, after many e-mails sent to *******************************, we do not have our agreed payment. He has stated repeatedly "It is being worked on".My wife's sister sold an identical mineral right on the same lease to a different company in ******** and received full payment in 4 weeks after they received her signed documents.

    In early February of this year a Landman for BCF, Thomas Gilstrap made initial contact with me in interest of purchasing mineral rights. After negotiations with the company, we received a written offer in March to buy 24 acres in Canadian County from my sister and me. We agreed to the offer and signed a purchase contract with them in April. A title search was done, and we were sent a Curative Notice on May 13th that our family members had to be notified of the sale and given first right of refusal. Notices were sent out to family members and responses returned with no family interest. Several weeks passed and we were told everything was ready for closing. Again, several weeks went by without any communication from anyone about expected closing documents. I sent numerous e-mails and made many calls to the staff attempting to check on the status of closing documents. By the end of June, I sent another e-mail to Thomas to see if the offer was still on the table and he assured me it was. I told him I had other offers to buy the rights and we had lost a lot of time in this whole process by jumping through all the hoops they required. Finally on July 8th my sister and I received all the closing documents. We e-mailed the notarized papers to Camille, and FedEx over-night the originals that same day. A week after submitting the paperwork I emailed Camille to check on the status of the transaction but received no response. Since that time, my sister and I have made four attempts to get information from the company by emailing Camille and telephoning the BCF office staff. The parties are either "not available" or not responding directly to any of our queries. Four weeks later, we still have not received the promised payment nor acknowledgement of the submitted documents.

    We are taken aback by the lack of communication from this company once the offer and closing paperwork is signed. They hold you hostage and your mineral rights until they decide when to pay you.

    BCF acknowledges that this transaction was inadvertently delayed, but the sellers have since been paid in full and BCF believes this complaint has been resolved. BCF has closed on thousands of mineral acquisitions in Oklahoma, and virtually all of them have gone smoothly and without incident.

    My sister and I received our checks from our mineral sales on Friday, August 27th. We are awaiting clearance of the checks through the bank and only until then, will we be satisfied that the contract with BCF/Montage Minerals LLC as being fulfilled.
    The response time from our offer acceptance and issue of payment was totally unacceptable. The company's response of "inadvertently delayed" is also inexcusable. The lack of communication from staff was totally unprofessional! It was only after we filed our complaint that we started getting their attention.
    We would caution any prospective mineral sellers to look at the company's reviews before having any business dealings with them. Their reputation for slow payouts and communication speaks volumes!
