Per the ONG website they state they will reconnect services once the bill is paid. After paying my bill and waiting 48hours, I had to contact ONG to schedule a reconnect for the next day and then was told that if no one was home when they came (they did not give a time) then I would be charged $25 fee. The policies that ONG puts online for customers to see does not reflect their actual procedures and it is evident that ONG will try to find ways to charge customers, despite that they are not on time for appointments and do not follow thru with requests in a timely manner. It is disheartening to see a company provide subpar service and also try to charge consumers additional fees at the same time.Oklahoma Natural Gas

My service was cut off $433.60 which I paid right away when I got home from work. I call to schedule a reconnection. For the next morning. The tech calls me around 9am and I tell him my son lives next door he will be there. I travel for work. He said okay as long as he is over 18 I said yes hes 20. And hour later passes and I call my son who has been waiting. No one from ONG has showed up. I call the 1800 number to see what time he would be there. The representative told me that I needed to reschedule due to no one being home they had somewhere else to go. It would be the next morning to schedule another reconnection. Why they have no problem cutting it off when no ones home but someone needs to be there to turn services back on.Oklahoma Natural Gas

Oklahoma Natural Gas is the only provider in my area. Unfortunately, my gas meter had a leak on their end as well as my own. These leaks lead to an extremely high bill of $411.34. That bill was the sole responsibility of myself as the homeowner according to their policy. Their reasoning is that gas charged was passed through the meter. So, their leak was resolved and will stop any loss of product, but the leak on my end that was never proven or reported other than verbally has caused me to be responsible for an additional 300 dollars. They did not consider if the leak on their side was the cause of the leak on my end. When I asked for the report, multiple representatives and mangers stated that it would have to be Subpoenaed. Essentially, you cannot obtain a service report from them without the cost of legal counsel, and therefore any dispute you may have will likely be unresolved without extreme costs to the customer. This is gross failure in customer service and unethical business practices. It's relatively simple though, if there is no other option, there is no need for customer satisfaction. All that can be done is to let the BBB know, so they have the information to determine an accurate rating.Oklahoma Natural Gas

I moved into my house November 3rd. before move in, i had set up my ONG account, trying to get all of my utilities set up. They asked for verification of identity, so i sent my birth certificate, social, and drivers license in an email. For two months I have logged in frequently to my ONG account to see no balance. There has never been any bill to pay. My fianc texts me today while im at work saying our gas is turned off, and he doesnt know whats happening. Come to find ONG has a notice on our door due to nonpayment. They shut our gas off. I call them trying to figure out what is going on, they said they never received verification of my identity, and that I needed to resend it. I did just that. They said it could still take 3-5 days for a REVIEW, and then they would call about getting our gas turned back on. This has gotten so incredibly irritating. I understand turning it off due to non-payment, but I literally sent these documents months ago. Its so audacious that they do not send out an email or a letter beforehand with some sort of warning saying gas will be turned off or that there is a late payment. Really wish there was a different gas company that we could work with because this is insane. I probably wont have gas until next Friday because of this BS. Thanks ONGOklahoma Natural Gas

I don't understand this company's way of doing business. We built a new home and had ONG schedule a line and meter. We asked them to call us when the line was going to be trenched. I came to the house one day to find a third party contractor trenching the line. No calls were made to us. The contractor connected the line and stated the main they tapped was dry. I waited a couple of days thinking they would figure it out. Having a large hole in my backyard and rain on the way started to make me worry. I called in asking for a status and they sent someone out to set the meter. This technician did call me before arriving. I told him the ONG third party contractor stated the main line was dry. By the time I got there the tech had came and gone and no meter was set and the technician did not call me back like he told me he would do. I called back in and ONG stated a superintendent would be arriving soon. I waited at the site until one pm and then called in again to see if the superintendent was still coming. ONG stated they sent an email and someone would be in touch with me shortly. I left the site at 5 PM as no one had showed up or called. Now heavy rain is coming and the large hole in my backyard is going to fill with water and I have yet to be called back by ONG with a status. Furthermore, I get a bill for a Missed Appointment Charge of ***** and I never missed an appointment. After paying for a reconnection of my service and telling the representative that they would need to reach out to an alternative number on the day of the appointment, I got off work today to find 2 voicemails on the line I told them no one could be reached at, telling me I needed to reschedule. No one would tell me why the alternative number that I was assured would be called wasn't. After ****************************************************************************************** don't bank on talking with a manager I was assured a supervisor would be calling me within a couple of hours. It's now 4 hours later almost 9:30 cst pm. No contact. Terrible customer service and conflict resolution. Guess the representative was right on not banking for their management to step in when they should.Oklahoma Natural Gas

I recently was contacted by ONG; a box in my backyard had to be replaced and moved. The job turned out to be much more involved than anyone had anticipated. The ******* on the job, ******* ******, handled this extremely complex challenge professionally and accurately. In the process, a part of my yard was torn up, a **** was lost, and a deep trench had to be dug. Everything turned out perfect. ONG replace my **** and laid new mulch where the damage had occurred. With all the "service charges" they need to change their motto to "passing every cost onto our customers". None of my other utilities bill me "service charges" unless an actual service is done. Be dumping these clowns for a heat pump in a few months.Oklahoma Natural Gas

Absolutely the worst customer service reps Ive ever experienced. Technician went to wrong property to turn my gas on and then said I never answered the door. Woman on the phone said he knew details of my property and that there was a car in the window. I dont own a cat! And she still refused to admit that he went to the wrong address. Seriously awful people working in their offices.Oklahoma Natural Gas
