    Abandonment of Project-Abest personnel began a roof repair on my house and then abandoned the project. The Company has removed shingles and left portions of my roof without shingles or protective covering for approximately a week, in spite of my call to request proper steps be taken to protect my house from water damage. Abest has refused to respond, in any manner, regarding this issue. Abest has, thus far, refused to complete the project and refuses to advise when or even if they will complete the project, let alone protect my house from further water damage.
    Refusal to Communicate/Fraudulent Practices-I clearly would not have retained Abest to repair my roof in the absence of misinformation I was given at the time of contract. In reliance upon Abest's representation that work would commence to fix a leaking roof within two or (at the most) three weeks of late June, I retained Abest to do that work and prevent water damage to my home.
    I contacted the company many, many times over the following month (July) to determine when work would commence. I received absolutely no response in July.
    After one call, in August, that workers would start work (which turned out to be only partial work), the Company has otherwise refused to respond to any calls from me. Perhaps one should have been suspicious when Abest sent a welcome email, in June, advising of the project manager's name but included no contact information for the project manager whatsoever.
    I have contacted Abest at least 12 times over these last three months to get an answer as to when work would be commenced and then finished. In spite of many calls and three attempts to send a fax (each time being told that the fax machined "should work now" but it never has), I received a single call from the project manager. He advised workers would appear the next morning. Upon repeated queries from me, he unequivocally refused to provide any estimate of a completion date (yet again, another red flag).
