      I scheduled to have brown work done with a sponsored business that pops up on my ******** feed and who one of my friends has had work done by. I wanted to do it last year but was pregnant, and she was aware of this. I scheduled with her at the end of last month for May 4. She requested a $50 deposit to schedule and requested my telephone number for a confirmation text that she reported she always sends the night before. I made arrangements with my work to take off that shift (this was made prior to my appointment date) but I never received a confirmation anything; no text, no call, no message. I sent a message the same way that we had been communicating on the morning of my appointment to hopefully confirm, and this was at 8am. I never heard back from her until it was 15 minutes past my appointment time, at which time she called and text me, knowing that I have 3 month old twins at home, and claims that I am the one who didn't communicate effectively because I was putting them down for a nap. I explained that I had already requested my deposit back via Venmo because she didn't hold up her end of the agreement, to confirm the night before. She says that her confirming my appointment is a courtesy but not a requirement and she continues to lie and say that she sent a confirmation request that was never answered by me. She is unable to provide any evidence of any such confirmation. I have a trail of our transactions. She then attempted to get another $150 from me claiming a voluntary no-call no-show. Not once did she attempt to reschedule me. I have screen shots of all of our transactions.
