we hired this company last year to restore and store our personal property after a severe storm and a tree fall which nearly killed my family. They took the liberty of announcing my entire house as non salvage. Upon that they rummaged through our valuables and stole many valuable items even though we specifically instructed them to hold on to everything so we could double check their honesty. Our contents were stored in our own garage and many were missing. When we claimed our loss, they threatened us to comply or "the gloves would come off" those are the owner's exact words when he was tape recorded he threatened with collection process, a lien and said he had long fingers with the authorities to make life difficult for us if we didn't go away.Once we notified them with a claim of losses they immediately made up and invoice a year after the incident to almost as much as our claim to offset our claim to not pay the claim. They also set up unsafe electrical equipment in our house during a bathroom fix leaking water on to the floor. It ended up electrocuting my wife when she stepped close to it.This company should be investigated for fraud and unsafe practices. All the statements above are backed and supported with documents, emails, texts, voice recording, invoices, etc..

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
The person who responded is being untruthful. *** runs a business of lies, cheat, decit.they threaten customers when there's a claim of ******* happy to provide all documents as I have to ******* embaress them once more for being untruthful.

The only solution they have offered was a $3000 bribe for us to sign a release of liability.

I even emailed them the places we purchased our personal content so they could replace them without any response from them.

If they were such honest company, there would not be any complaint would there?
      Sincerely,

      ** ********

This matter arose out of a dispute for $17,530.00 due for work Northwest Restoration performed.  The Claimants refusal to pay is the root cause of the complaints mentioned on the BBB web site.  The Claimant is not entitled to a refund for work not paid for.  In addition, the claimant has been reimbursed by his insurance company for the $17,530.00 work our company completed and was not paid for, so any refund would result in a double recovery for Claimant.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The business statement is inaccurate. They were paid $24000 for their work including storage where our contents were stored in the garage while their crew rummaged through and stole our valuables. Their insurance argument is none sense.the insurance company was well aware of us keeping some things

Northwest restoration has made up a facticiou invoice a year after the fact for storage to confuse the situation.

They have to either replace or pay the replacement cost of $15700 for the stolen contents of many

      Sincerely,

They were paid over $24000 for their services including storage.

They, stored our contents in our own garage and left them for their staff to steal.

We have an entire room missing and this company totally refuses to acknowledge and pay for our loss

I want a refund for all the fraudulent storage charges also

I handed that check to them and they cashed it.

      To Whom It May Concern,

This response is submitted by Northwest Restoration (NWR) regarding the complaint filed by Mr.
******** related to restoration and contents services provided.

The total cost of the project was $41,677.78. Mr. ******** has paid $24,147.78 to date. An
additional $17,530.00 was invoiced on December 3, 2024, covering storage and manipulation
      of contents.

In an effort to resolve the matter, NWR offered a full credit of the $17,530.00 balance in
exchange for a signed release of liability. This offer was presented on two separate
occasions and was declined by Mr. ********.

Mr. ******** has alleged that approximately $15,000 in personal items were stolen. These items
had been classified as non-salvage—meaning they were deemed a total loss and paid out by
the insurance carrier. NWR requested information regarding what compensation Mr. ********
received from his carrier to help determine a fair reimbursement amount. However, he declined
to provide this documentation, and as a result, NWR was unable to move forward with
      reimbursement.

Northwest Restoration has made good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly with Mr.
******** and remains willing to do so should he decide to re-engage.

      Sincerely,
      Northwest Restoration

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

      Sincerely,

      Dear ******,

Unfortunately Mr ***** is not being truthful.i sent you a couple of pictures of what he claims was stored.that is the boxed up garbage out of our garage.

Mr ****** commits insurance fraud by charging the insurance company for the services he doesn't provide.the storage he's referring to is an example.this charge came up as soon as we claimed a loss it took me ***** almost a year to think of that.

Our damages are $41500 partly punitive plus interest as of October 2024.

Mr ***** tried to create a circus to confuse the situation.

This is a classic case of insurance fraud and he keeps ignoring it..

We also demand the storage part of the $24000 that he got paid.

      And that's the truth.

      Sincerely yours
