I ordered two snowboards from TACTICS and received three bad experiences. The first order was cumbersome. By the time I received an order confirmation, my order had tripled. I chalked this up to potential cyber issues on my own end(who knows?), but TACTICS corrected the order down to my singular order. They helped! Then the snowboard arrived with an obvious defect. To be specific, someone bottomed out a binding s**** without bindings on the snowboard. Pushing the base of the snowboard outward and leaving a permanent dimple in the potentially separated base layer. I have pictures. I contacted an online expert responsible for the TACTICS link who suggested the snowboard sure hold up, so I didnt complain. The second purchase from TACTICS rendered me a trashed snowboard. Possibly a floor model according to the only helpful person I found at TACTICS since complaining about receiving trashed top sheets(and a secondary ground base). Irregardless, the representative professionally sent me a return label and verified their remaining model was in good condition. Coming from ****, OR.While the exchange unit did not have factory wrapping, or at least it was already coming apart, the damage to the snowboard was not clear until I began removing the plastic. It was as damaged as the one I had spent hours returning. Im requesting a second return label for a second trashed snowboard(specifically top sheet) which was sold with all indications of being a new snowboard.

I offer cautionary advice to anyone ordering shoes online from TACTICS in ******, ******. I ordered a pair of sneakers. Upon receipt, I opened the box in my dining room, brought the shoes to my living room and then tried them on. I quickly could tell that they were not the right size after walking in the two rooms and a hallway. In less than 5 minutes, the shoes were back in the box. We sealed them up and shipped them back. Once received by Tactics, we got an email that recounted the website statement: "Returns must be unworn, in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging" in order to receive the full amount back. Then they said, "We had multiple team members look over the returned shoes and confirm signs of wear. There is mud/dirt on the right toe as well as debris in the soles. The insoles of both shoes are fuzzy from being worn for more than just a try-on. These shoes are not in the same condition they arrived in" so, according to Tactics, cannot be resold. They offered us a 50% refund. Despite repeated appeals, they would not refund us the full amount.I am an honest person. I am a 60 year old attorney who believes I have a moral and ethical obligation to be truthful. The shoes did not fit. I did not wear them "for more than just a try-on" as Tactics asserted. Which compels me to warn anyone who orders online from Tactics to take pictures or video of your entire interaction with the shoes. Tactics clearly has the upper hand in this engagement and is willing to use it to make some quick cash. I've never had a online retailer do this to me so I know this is a unique situation. It made me wonder whether those shoes are now on the feet of one of their "inspectors" since they were nice shoes.Or avoid ordering online from Tactics altogether and just shop somewhere else. It could save you at least 50% of what you spend and your integrity.
