    I own a townhome in a row of 5 townhomes. Last year 2024 in March we had our roof replaced by ***** from Top flight roofing. He and his team roofed over all of our dryer vents, which is a huge fire hazard, blowing lint into all of our attics. For months over this last summer ***** ignored my calls and texts asking him to come and fix our dryer vents that he roofed over. He then 6 months later came, and only fixed 1 out of the 5 dryer vents. I am now $350 in the hole because of twice I had another company come to blow out my vent, and its roofed over. Because ***** said he fixed it, but only fixed 1 of ******* I am filing for the losses of the 2 times I had another company come blow out the dryer vent ($175 x 2) and then the cost for another company to fix the other 4 townhomes vents ($350 x 4) total: $1750.Not to mention the amount of time that his team has wasted of mine, and my fellow townhome owners, and the worrying that has been had about my house burning down from his companies wrongdoings.

    Roofer had an active CCB on the day I signed contract for roof replacement and took my check FOR $4500 ON 3/9/24, however they delayed starting the job until 3 days prior to the contacted finish date 04/06/2024. when I contacted them on 4/2 after being put off a couple other times, not showing up when scheduled to begin work, The guy (*****) then rushed over with a rubbish trailer put in my driveway on 4/3 and next day the workers started tearing off old roof even though I told *****, the owner to wait until Monday, 4/8 because of the weather forecast however he did not want to listen to my concern and lied to me several times. Also he canceled or did not pay his Surety Bond that same day so his CCB Lic was suspended just prior to him sending workers to my house and tearing off my most of my roof and leaving it in the rain to damage. I want to get my money back, for they breached our contract several times when I was giving them many chances to finish the job of re roofing my house. I will now need emergency roofing job to fix all this, and it will cost me more now because of this mess. They left their tools and trailer here for 7 to 10 days and they could not be real roofers without their tools they left on my property after I told them to come and get their things and to leave.This company seems to make a habit of skipping out and completing jobs, or not paying their ************** on time with the Oregon CCB and getting suspended, with complaints multiple times, and seems they steal from **** to pay *****, they take money from clients to pay for past jobs rather than the current job like I signed a contract for. Appears they had no money to do my job and kept lying to me and delay delay delay, the contract ended and they still pretended they were helping me to put off paying me back my money.

    July of 2023 roof replacement by Top Flight *******************************************. Portland Or ***** total cost 102,270.00$ with 10 year warranty. Dec 11 2023 two leaks fixed by Top Flight with mixed success. Jan 17 2024 multiple roof leaks. Contacted ***** Top Flight Roofing Jan. 18th, due to ice agreed on Wed. Jan 24 for repairs. During build Top Flight blocked two emergency drains, needs correction. No one appeared or communicated on Jan 24. No call/show 1.Jan 29 emailed ***** and Jan 31. he said work begins before the end of week. Feb 2 ***** no call/show 2. Emailed Feb 2 asking for new appointment. Feb 5 ***** said work start 7am Tues Feb 6th. ***** appraised leaks, I sent follow up email pictures of leaks. Mon Feb 12 still no word, emailed again. I emailed ***** on Thurs Feb 15. He replied Fri Feb 16 said team to arrive 7-8am Feb 19th. Feb 19 ***** said team running late, be there in the afternoon. 2:15pm no call/show 3. Contacted ***** said next day. Feb 20 ***** said his team to arrive early evening, arrived at 3pm. Team arrived w/ minimal materials, modified blocked emergency drains but didnt address multiple leaks needing repair. Thurs Feb 22 I prompted ***** for repair start date I had initiated over a month previously, no reply. Mon Feb 26th contacted ***** noting the urgency to repair. No reply. Again prompted ***** on Wed Feb 28, no reply. Finally *** Feb 29 he replied saying Fri March 8 would be the first rain free day and repair would start.Mon March 4 I replied informing him Tues 5th to Fri 8th to be rain free and they should begin repair ASAP. March 7 received a reply from ***** saying they would arrive Friday March 8 between noon and one. March 8 came and went without any sign of ***** or Top Flight, no call/show 4. Mon March 11 I emailed ***** that 55 days passed without repair since leak began, asking for an immediate reply, repair start, and informing him I would be reporting this to the BBB and ***********
