      On April 28th 2025 I paid $245.90 for the repair center to do a full diagnostic scan of my van. I informed the shop I have a cylinder 2 misfire/and Multiple/Random misfires codes I've been trying to fix for about 7 months. I used my personal scanner but wanted the dealership to use their equipment to do a more comprehensive scan. I wanted them to test the engine control module and crankshaft position sensor. They didn't even drive the van and run scans, which is what their procedure tells them to do. They did a basic scan, which is free at AutoZone, and charged me $245. They told me I have misfires, which I told them about when I made the appointment. Wasted my time and money.

      Tony Perkins, After review of the file. The amount paid was for time spent. Client was advised of the misfire most likely originating from a mechanical issue and would require addition diagnosis with partial engine teardown. Client declined further services.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Thanks for responding a month later. 

      I told the dealership the reason I was bringing the vehicle in was because I did a scan and have multiple codes showing misfires, including cylinder 2. I asked if they could do a more complete scan. They said they could, but they didn't do anything different. They used a simple code scanner, same as I used. AutoZone does the same scan for FREE.

      You did not provide the services you promised. 

      Fully refund my payment. 

      It'll save you money in the long term.
