      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DRIVEWAY.COM. I traded in a vehicle, which I owed money on and purchased another vehicle from them. On June 10th, I dropped off my trade-in and picked up the purchase vehicle. It is now August 12th, they have not paid off the trade-in, nor have the registered the purchase vehicle with my state (it's showing as still registered in another state). I'm getting calls from my bank's collections department for the late payments of the trade-in, which I can't pay because I'm making payments on the new vehicle and only have money to make one car payment. Driveway has not responded to multiple emails and phone calls to their customer service. When I do get to talk to someone, they just say someone will call me back with an update, but I never get a call back. I've now filed a lawsuit against them for breach of contract and failing to register the vehicle in the timeframe required by my state.

      My name is *****. I started this journey with Driveway back in August 30th 2021. We recently had to purchase a new vehicle due to a car accident that left our other car totaled. I started to talk about a 2011 Cadillac Escalade from a sells rep named ******. We went through the whole process put money down, and started filling out the paperwork for the vehicle. Everything was done over email and text. After all the paperwork was done, we talked to the delivery coordinator named ******* on 9/5/21. We still didn't get the overnight paperwork and didn't hear back from anyone until contacted them on the 9th of September. Twice i had contacted them. I finally got a text from another coordinator named ***** which gave me an excuse about a tracking number. On the 13th of September I had not heard so I reached out again. Finally on the 14 of September. At this time i just wanted my money back and didn't want the car. They assured me that the issue would be taken care of and talked me into keeping the vehicle. They sent me a $100.00 **** which was already used by the way, which was poor salesmanship. Finally on September 17th almost a month starting the process we received the car. As soon as we started to drive it, a battery light came on. I got ahold of someone and talked to a ****. At this point we just wanted our money back. They scheduled a visit at ****** and when my wife showed up on September 27th, ***** wouldn't look at it. This was just the beginning. We had the front left door panel fall off, broken back left door handle, tires wont stay aired up, and power windows were failing. Now, even after less than a year of driving it, we were driving and the car started to loose power. LESS THAN A YEAR. We took it in to 2 mechanic visits and we were told that the 7th cylinder in the engine has failed and was quoted that it would be $3000 to repair. I've left voicemails and calls and no response from Driveway, and encourage others not to. Just want a resolution to this.
