    I see these bad reviews and I am astonished. I have several Benchmade knives and have never had a problem with them or their customer service. These knives are top notch

    I've been buying Benchmade knives for 20+ years. I've had most of their most iconic designs. I've given then as gifts and used them myself in a variety of jobs. They're not cheap, but they're some of the most reliable production knives available.I've also used Benchmade's ***************** and their repair service. Both services have done what I asked them to do and returned my knives to me in the time frame they stated.

    Benchmade knives are second to none and their customer service is unrivaled. I have bought over 20 knives from this company with no issues. Some of these knives were custom made and my questions were always answered in a timely manner. Great company, I will buy more.

    If you send in a knife for sharpening, they claim it's counterfeit and steal your property. Paid twice as much for an "authentic" one from their website. Complete garbage- broke almost instantly. Their customer service takes forever and is horrible. The reviews are correct. They rob and steal from their own customers.

As part of our service agreement, customers are required to acknowledge that counterfeit products cannot be returned and will be disposed of to protect both our customers and our brand from fraudulent items. We understand how frustrating this process can be, especially when you were unaware of the knife's authenticity. We encourage customers to purchase directly from authorized retailers to avoid situations like this in the future.

    In addition, we apologize for the issues you encountered with your subsequent purchase. We strive to maintain the highest quality standards, and we regret that the Claymore OTF you ordered did not meet your expectations. According to our records, our Customer Experience team provided a return label for the defective knife and processed your refund promptly.

    I have a Benchmade Mini Boost I have carried off and on for about 3 years. The blade material is S30V. The mechanicals and blade on this knife are both excellent. Where the knife degrades is in the handle materials. Mine are delaminating and look like the dog has chewed on them for a few days. This is not acceptable in a knife that costs just south of $200. Benchmade is happy to replace them for $50 if I send the knife to them. Well, fat chance. I have a nice piece of desert Ironwood that is just dying to be made into some decent bolsters. I think this mini boost is just the right knife.

    I can see why there are so many negative reviews with this company, both on here and Trustpilot. Two months ago I reached out to Benchmade to see if it was possible for them to send me two malice clips seeing as the ones I received with my knife don't seem to seat well. That's it. It's been TWO MONTHS of going back and forth with broken promises of "oh we'll have it sent out next day" and "oops, we meant tomorrow I swear!" My problem, which could've been easily solved by shipping two ten-cent pieces of plastic to my address, has now escalated to me having to file this complaint on a public forum for everyone to see what kind of "business" this company is. Do they make a good product? Sure, but don't expect to ever get your knife back if you send it in for sharpening if this is how they act about two plastic straps. I am thoroughly shocked that a manufacturer like this can even function, much less stay in business

    I have purchased dozens of knifes in the past few years and have sent one back to Benchmade to get a tune up. Nothing wrong with it just a little dull. I get email to contact Benchmade and called, was on hold for 41 minutes! Finally got to someone and was informed that they determine my knife I paid over $250 bucks for at Scheels in **********, **, was a counterfeit. Was informed they would not return my property back to me. I do not care if you think it was counterfeit. I paid for it, it is my property and if you were located in ***** I would be taking you to small claims court! I asked ******* to just engrave or etch it with counterfeit and send it back. I informed him they are stealing property that I paid for and they did not provide any evidence it was counterfeit. Worst customer service and thieves!!!
