      I purchased a knife from Gerber for my husband. Shortly after wearing it, a s**** fell out that holds the clip onto the knife so it can be attached to a pocket. I reached out to Gerber to purchase a new s**** and was told they cannot sell it to me but a warranty claim would take care of the issue. A month later I still have not received the part so my husband can wear his knife. Gerber customer service goes dormant and doesn't respond to my emails and there's no number to contact. I've submitted a warranty claim as instructed and they have yet to handle this issue. All that is needed is a tiny s**** to fix the clip so the knife can be worn. I'm not asking for a new knife, just a tiny s**** and even offered purchasing it. The s**** is not one you can purchase at a hardware store. At this point, I would like a full refund if they will not fix this problem by providing the s**** Please note the knife cannot be worn because the clip is too loose and when it falls off the pocket, the knife opens immediately. (This is a flaw in the knife as it's a huge safety concern)I will attach a photo of the item, receipt, first email submitting the warranty request and the last email I sent on June 16th. I still have not heard anything back.

      I bought a $190.00 knife that is supposed to have a lifetime warranty and it broke before I could even use it, which says alot about Gerbers made in ***, I've tried to contact them multiple times and only get an automated email that says ok we about it, no response on what's going on. I can't get ahold of anyone, terrible customer service all I want is my knife replaced

      I own a top of the line (at the time of purchase) folding knife from Gerber. It is now falling apart and Gerber says they do not have parts to repair it. This knife has been my EDC for decades and is no longer manufactured.Since it has a lifetime warranty and cannot be repaired, I have asked the company to send me a replacement or a check so I can find a replacement myself.They sent me instructions on how to return my knife but I refuse to do that without a guarantee of compensation or a suitable replacement.I checked their offerings and only one knife is a comparable replacement (the 06 Auto) and they told me they will not provide that to me.They offered $150 in credit ONLY so I would be sending my knife in and receiving nothing - no replacement, and they do not make one that is comparable (that they will sell or send me).This is beyond irritating, since I have been using that knife everyday for 30 years.

      I ordered the ComplEAT Camping Cook Set. Upon delivery, I noticed a dent in the pot and that the handle rivets were damaged. I contacted customer service and was asked to send a photo, which I did but since then, I havent received any response.While I do like the cook set itself, this experience has made me lose trust in Gerber Gear. I've come across too many similar stories of customers being ignored when trying to use the return policy or lifetime warranty.

      Submitted a warranty claim through the venders website at ******************************************************************, however, have yet to hear back from anyone to have the protective sheath replaced & or warrantied out.       I paid over $100 for a nice pocket knife thinking I was getting a high quality product. After a short time it started falling apart and screws falling out. I submitted a warranty claim on 2/2/25 and Gerber sent an automated response with case number ********. I emailed them more details and pictures on 2/16/25. I have since followed up by email on 2/26/25, 3/2/25 and again on 3/10/25 with zero response from them. I have tried calling every phone number listed online and even sent them a ******** message. Its impossible to get ahold of them and they are not responding to any emails. Endless counts of other people are experiencing the same thing after a quick online search. I now have had to purchase another knife since they arent responding to my many attempts to get this one fixed. Terrible warranty process and zero customer service.

      I submitted an online claim on 12/24/24 under the lifetime warranty with Gerber Gear for my stainless steel blunt nose MP600 multiplier that I purchased in 1993 at *************** Sporting Goods in **********, ** because the slotted screwdriver blade snapped at the pivot s**** and cannot be repaired. Photos were included with the submission. I received an email acknowledgement on 12/24/24 assigning claim number ********.The Gerber Gear website states in the **************** section that average warranty response time is ***** days. When completing the online claim form, additional information is provided stating that the claim time is delayed to 6-7 weeks due to a "new system." I have not been contacted in over seven weeks, so I am requesting help from the BBB. I have not been able to receive an update from Gerber Gear.I notified Gerber Gear that my knife is not repairable for two reasons. First, the broken blade on my old version of the knife is no longer available. Second, the pivot s**** is stripped. I have requested a replacement stainless steel needle nose MP600 without replaceable carbide wirecutters to match my current knife as closely as possible. (I would prefer a blunt nose stainless version without replaceable carbide wirecutters, but do not see that available in the online catalog. I don't want a black one. I don't want replaceable carbide wirecutters. The needle nose seemed to be the best option of what is currently available.)I am a staunch advocate of Gerber knives. I am hoping that they will send me a replacement for the broken one.BBB, thank you for your help.

      I want to at least return a defective product. Ideally I'd like to exchange it for better model that actually works. I am willing to pay for the difference.

      Hello, attempting to do a basic item refund and return for a knife purchased from Gerber Gear in ****** , ***. I have followed the *** process on the website and made 3 attempts to contact them for a item return and refund in the timeline using the email they gave. No response from ************************************ , they also are running a broken website that when you submit a claim it just says 'Ooops something happened' *******************************************************

      I'll start by saying it's very disappointing that I'm even having to write this review. We have been a loyal family of many Gerber and fiskers products. We have always given praise to the products that we have used. In the few circumstances where there was an issue, the issue was very quickly dealt with. Unfortunately, it seems that things may have changed. I contacted Gerber Gear 8 months ago about a pocket knife that I carry on a daily basis. The knife is generally used to cut fruit and food from my lunch. The knife doesn't see hard work, and it didn't get abused. I was cutting an apple at work on slab of wood when the entire tip snapped off. It was very strange to me when it happened. Upon taking a better look with a jewlers loop I had at home, you can see imperfections in the metal. It seems to me my knife had a factory defect. So I took the time to go online and fill out a warranty claim. This was 8 months ago now and I still haven't heard anything back. I ended up filling out a second claim and again heard nothing. The phone number that is provided for customer service gives you the information to go online to make a claim and then quickly disconnects the call. It is very disappointing that a once reputable company is now treating their loyal consumers in this manner. I was simply looking for a replacement, not empty promises. I'm hoping Gerber Gear sees this post and decides to make this right.
