I am writing this on behalf of my 84 year old mother, ***********************, who is visiting as a tourists she slipped entering the store due to their negligence and incurred a huge lump on her forehead. The mother company had reached us, incident number 4A22091N4HQ-0001, mind you weeks after the incident, before which they had previously promised that they will cover an expense.After receiving a letter from an ***********************, I had made multiple attempts to reach her and left 4 message by now but no one had called back.Thank you.Business Response

on 8/18/2022 I purchased a ring, total cost $724.24 , was told it would have to be sent out for sizing, appx two weeks because the repairman is on vacation, however I was out of town for the weekend, I called Friday the 19th next day and said I no linger want the ring , cancel the order, was informed I would have to come in the store to cancel etc,Monday I went to the store, Fred Meyer Jewelers , talked to the lady that sold the ring, after some time talking and checking, she said the ring was sent out for sizing and couldn't cancel the request until the ring came back , appx seven days, so upset as I was I also tried to talk to the manger, who blew it off, no help, asked why I couldn't cancel today, they said that was the policy etc, again explained I don't want the ring, again said when the ring comes back then I would get full refund ( wouldn't be charged anything ) have a person who was there with me when talking to sales lady ***** so I would like for someone from your office call these people at ************ , regarding what I stated, they can't get by pulling this scam, invoice number ******* including lifetime care plan again total $724.24 why can't they void out the sales period,?? could have done Monday when there, lied to me , the ring was probably still there as the repairman was in leave, Please at least call and talk to the sales lady **** Aydon Regards ********************* ************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I simply canceled the sale before they sent the ring out or sizing ( per phone call before that weekend, was told I have to come in the store to cancel which I did a couple days later, their excuse was we sent the ring out to be sized , can't cancel until the ring comes back, bare in mine I never had the ring period,They threated me the other day when they called and said the ring came back rom sizing and if I don't come into the store they will charge against my proposed Platinum credit card which I don't have. Applied for the credit card during the sale of the ring, Simply put , we can go to court , doesn't make any difference to me, canceled the sale of the ring and that's Final.

In regards to my complaint 8/26 which I thought the complaint was resolved, received a call from Fred Meyer Jewelers headquarters in ******, ************ Sales , **** said not to worry I would not be billed for the item which I was never in procession of to begin with , never left the store with the ring, Today I get a bill from a credit card company ( I don't have a credit card from this company ) they billed me for $724.24
??? How can they do this, ?? I don't have or never had a credit card with this company , ************** **********************************. 32896-5052
I want this complaint reinstated asap

On 11/14/14 my now husband purchased my engagement ring in the amount of $999.00 and a lifetime care plan. Weve purchased many other items including 2 sets of diamonds earrings with care plans, his wedding band, and I purchased my two wedding bands in the amount of $230 a piece on 03/30/2016 which I was told had the lifetime warranty as well. After we got my bands we got them soldered together. Ive had nothing but issues since 2014 weve sent it in twice for missing diamonds and they have almost filed the prongs down on my center stone completely. Every time it gets sent it for re rhodium they do it incorrectly and I have to resend it right back. In the 7 years *** had this ring Ive never had it done correctly the first time. Now after being unhappy for so long I asked them 4 times now to get my ring in perfect like new condition so that I can take my ring somewhere else and get my money back. Now they are telling me in order to get it in perfect condition I have to pay over $600 to get the wedding bands fixed because there is not a lifetime warranty! I was told my wedding bands had a lifetime warranty as they were a special order because they needed to be resized and I financed them. I remember telling the guy when I picked them up my receipt didnt say they had a warranty and he reassured me I did. Ive been sending my ring to them for 7 years not once have they ever told me this until today 08/17/2022 since Im done sending my ring to them over and over for them to not fix it correctly and not having my ring for weeks! Not to mention there is no longer any store near me so I have to take it to fed ex everytime I dont trust them with my ring anymore the workmanship is terrible and theyve ruined the look of it. They need to fix my ring like new and refund me for all my warranties so I can take my ring to be inspected and repaired else where. Included is pictures of my wedding bands rhodium plated correctly in black and one of them not rhodium plated at all.Business Response

Your repairs are to be completed through our ****************** Without the ********************* plan you are liable for the repair work. If you would like to send in your merchandise for repair, please call 1800DIAMOND and press option 5 to get that set up.

My husband bought my wedding ring at the *********** Fred Meyer Jewelers on November 17, 2019. Since then, my ring has been in for repairs many times for various issues. When I lost the center stone May 17, 2022, and sent it for repair, we didn't get the diamond certification for the new diamond back with the ring. They advised us that the certification comes separately. We told them immediately on getting my ring back that my ring was not correct, and that the center diamond was not the same. We felt that they had replaced my diamond with a lower-level diamond and ruined my setting forcing a different type of diamond into the ring. After 2-3 months of asking for the certification, the manager called and stated that I hadn't bought the ring that I have receipts for buying. Then they said the receipts I have for my ring were incorrect and the paperwork they gave me, wasn't for my ring. They are saying that I didn't purchase certified diamonds even though I have receipts showing I did. We have questioned why we were not notified of this mistake PRIOR to the ring being repaired and as soon as the jeweler noticed the issue. Why now after 3 months of asking for the new certification certificate for the new diamond, that we were assured was coming, are we told the receipts I have for my ring are incorrect? We still have no explanation for this issue from the Manager nor District Manager. I have tried to work out a solution with the Manager ******* and the District Manager *****. They are saying they won't replace the diamond with the one I had. ***** is going off what ******* has told him and hasnt even looked at any of the information for himself. Additionally, I have taken my ring to a local reputable jeweler for a second opinion. They have confirmed that the diamond and ring I had, does not appear to be what I have now. Additionally, they felt the illusion setting had been ruined and the prongs for the middle diamond have been ground down.Business Response

The refused to return items purchased recently, saying I cant return them because theyre reduced items, even though I have receipt, doesnt say on the receipt I cant return reduced items, I feel Ive discriminated against because I am not American and I speak with an accentBusiness Response
