Received damaged helmets. Next day requested refund and sent pictures of the damage. Said that they would send replacement parts but first they would have to review it. I just want my money back. I ordered a motorcycle helmets and replacement shield but never got either item. They gave me some fake tracking information that showed it at the **** in ************ which is less than 2 hours away from my house and it showed there a week or more ago and it still never made it to my house. I ordered a helmet from gear rider Feb 4, 2025, received helmet Feb 22, 2025. Ordered a medium helmet based on their size chart and experience. The medium helmet I received is too loose. Does not fit properly therefore is unsafe for myself and the public.I called the phone # on the website, no one answers the phone. The call goes to a "voicemail box that is full", so I can not leave a message. After several negative things reviews and a complaint through ******, they sent me an email asking for a video of the defect. I returned email stating that a video is not necessary for the incorrectly sized helmet which does not match their own size chart. I asked for a working phone number and/or an address for return. It has been a few days and no response. I am asking for a refund instead of exchange because the helmet is also of poor quality and for this reason as well, it would be unsafe if and accident happened. I am also asking for that return shipping be paid by the seller since I order based on their size chart (the chart is correct, the helmet is not).Initial Complaint

This company took forever to deliver my product. I ordered a helmet from Gear Riders on May 13.I received my helmet on May 30 and immediately noticed a major red flag. The helmet was not properly packaged. A helmet is to be packaged in a box with adequate packaging to keep it safe, and therefore your head safe. The helmet was wrapped in bubble wrap with a thin bag (see photos). I noticed that there were two deep chips to the face of the helmet meaning that it has been dropped at least twice, hard enough to cause that degree of damage. Since the integrity of the helmet has been compromised, I Immediately contacted the company and asked for a refund with returned postage and attached the same photos and video. They said they would forward it to their team and get back to me as soon as possible. 6 days later, June 5th, I asked for an update on my return, and I was met with "What do you mean by return" I then sent a screen shot of the email thread containing the complaint and was told, "We are still waiting for confirmation from our team". I waited over a week with no response and decided to file a claim with PayPal (who I made the purchase with) requesting a refund as well as postage on June 13. On June 16. I received an email from the company offering 40% off. I declined and reinstating that the integrity of the helmet is compromised due to their lack of packaging and insisted that I get a full refund as well as postage. They replied the next day, June 17 that "For the level of damage to the helmet, we can offer a discount of up to $100. I did not reply to this email and waited to hear back from PayPal. On June 19, I get a message from PayPal that the company has offered $30 dollars off. I declined stating that, "Their website states a "no-hassle" refund policy. I want that "no-hassle" refund as well as shipping for the inconvenience." and I included a screenshot of the "No-hassle" refund policy. As of June 25 I have been offered a full refund but was not offered shipping like I had asked for multiple times.Business Response

I purchased a dot approved helmet from gear rider and it took two months to get here, which ***** but is fine. I followed the company's instructions for measuring my head for the helmet, which is also accurate for other brands/stores so I ordered a medium helmet like I would buy normally. When it got here, the material and padding of the helmet is obviously not DOT approved, which makes it dangerous to rely on. I am certain inexperienced riders will check out this website, purchase helmets or other riding gear, and will suffer extremely when they do not know the product they've bought is below standard. I contacted the company about a return, which will cost me about half of my entire order to send back. This company does not value customer satisfaction, as I tried to cancel the order before it was shipped and was told they only cancel within 24 hr of ordering, they do not value customer's lives or well being as they are advertising and selling inferior products designed to ensure safety of motorcycle riders.Business Response

Ordered a helmet it was the correct size but the helmet padding is extremely thin so it's very loose it's not buyers remorse. The sizing that I was told I needed wasn't the correct size per the company selling them. I contacted the company. And they told me to send it back at my cost for return label which happens to be $80. The company also sent me the wrong helmet. I'm sent an email on December 25 and they have not reached back out. I sent another email on the 29th, they have also stopped responding. I want a refund for my money and they can have the helmet back at their cost since they didn't get it right in the first place.Business Response

I ordered 2 helmets from here. It has been taking forever so I tried to call them and they have no number to f****** call them. Then I came here to see if anyone else had a problem and this is ********. This company needs to be shut down. Never ordering from here again and neither should anyone elseBusiness Response
