  I was extremely pleased with Portland Student Movers. The movers worked quickly and efficiently and wasted no time. They were friendly, professional, and very careful and conscious of my belongings. The extra cost of hiring movers through Portland Student Movers was reasonable and well worth it! I would highly recommend using this company.

  I did a ****** search and found Portland Student Movers who were the most reasonable quote. We were very pleased with their professionalism and quickness with our move! We had *****, *******, and ******* and will be requesting them again when we have to have our furniture moved upstairs after some renovations!

  Second time using Portland Student Movers and another 5 star experiment. ****************************** and **** were efficient, friendly and rolled with the punches. We had an issue with our pod company that caused our move to stretch longer than planned. They assured us that they were committed to seeing our move through and made us feel comfortable the whole time. Plus they loaded our pod perfectly and securely. They will always be my first choice in ******.

  Fantastic. We've moved with them 4 times and also stored our belongings with them in their storage facilities. Movers are efficient, careful and detail oriented while head office is responsive and communicates clearly with you regarding move or access to storage space.

  Portland Student Movers provided great service and value. ***** and ***** were great movers - the two of them moved our one bedroom apartment up two+ flights of stairs to a similar townhome with two flights of stairs, and did it quickly and safely. They were on time, worked hard and did a great job protecting our stuff. Highly recommended!

  I just had a GREAT experience moving from ********* to *********. We had the boxes ready for them and they were in and out in no time. They walked up long flights of stairs like champs. I would strongly recommend Portland Student Movers, you wont regret it.

  PLEASE READ THIS AND THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE DECIDING TO WORK WITH MOVING FELLOWS.I just completed a move with Moving Fellows and it was an absolute nightmare for many reasons. Firstly, the quoted $650 for the move and when it was over they charged over $1300 WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING TO ME. The move was a disaster because the movers were absolutely unqualified/not fit for the move. They were slow, unprofessional, and complained the entire time. One of the movers was completely wreckless and badly injured himself on our property. We tried to press him to seek medical attention but he declined as he other employees stated he likely didn't have insurance coverage. These "movers" were all probably between the ages of *****. MY WIFE AND I ENDED UP DOING 15%-20% OF THE MOVE OURSELVES BECAUSE IT WAS CLEAR THEY WERE UNABLE TO DO THE MOVE TIMELY THEMSELVES. They brought out a so called "manager" to finish the move when it was obviously taking too long and that man was absolutely rude and refused to talk to us or apologize for the poor service. Just ridiculous.Further, they destroyed a TV stand worth $700 while ignoring safety protocols and refused to replace it. They hauled it off, promising to submit a clam on our behalf which was a lie because we never heard from them again. I had to call repeatedly to have a claim filed. Then, they refused to respond to ANY of the issues they were clearly negligent for. Their response was a measly $120 refund with a lame letter stating they would not be responding to any further inquiries.Moving Fellows is a complete scam. They're liars, fraudsters, will overcharge you without saying anything to you. I'll be reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau as well and directing anyone I know away from using them.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MOVING FELLOWS. They do not deserve your business and will only make things more difficult and more expensive for you.

  This is a scam company.
  I was quoted a price and they continued to add to the quote throughout the booking price all the way up to when I was to receive my items.
  I asked the movers to stop at one hour and to just move the heavy/large items because I had a friend helping me the next day.
  Two and a half hours later I received a call from the business saying they were going to have to add onto to the price because it was taking longer. I in the end had to help unload my items because one of the movers was on the phone with his girlfriend and left it up to me and the other guy. They didn't even unload the items into my apt, I had them leave it in the hallway to avoid more charges. It took us 20 mins.
  I was quoted $250 and ended up with a $612 bill.

  Very disappointed and would never recommend. Quoted $700 and charged $1395. Deducted extra amount from my account before I could dispute. Did not communicate overages until job was done. Would not respond to my messages and concerns. Broke things. Sent one gentleman who could barely walk and charged me for an extra person. I asked for 2 but because they sent 3 without advising in advance charged me $202/hr instead of the quoted $140/hr. Did not advise I was over my item limit until job was done. They just filled up the truck. Very very poor business and I am very unhappy.

  Do NOT hire this company. I had made a reservation with this company in case I would not be able to have a friend help me move. I ended up not needing their services and cancelled the reservation the day of. On their own website, under their cancellation policy, it did not mention any cancellation fees other than not receiving non-refundable charges refunded. They tried telling me that I had to pay their 2-hour minimum to book the service when it was not mentioned in their cancellation policy. In total I had a hold for the amount of $288 on my debit card for the cost of the reservation. After cancelling I had contacted their refunds department for a refund and they had told me that I was not being charged. They ended up charging me that whole amount even after what they had told me. I disputed the charge with my bank, got my money back from Moving Fellows, and shortly got served paperwork for small claims court. They are trying to claim that I used their services, when I got a receipt of cancellation emailed to me, and did not pay them an amount almost twice the amount I was quoted. Do NOT hire them, they WILL scam you.
