    Stated that if unhappy with the quality of product can return within 30 days when I tried to initiate the return they state their is a 20% restocking fee, including the items I didnt open. The items are not sharp the employee stated that the items are mailed "factory sharp" which is a more dull edge, other knife companies do not do this, and they would be willing to sell me a knife sharpening kit. If I attempt to sharpen these I would make these items "used condition" and no longer be qualified for a discount. Handles feel and look like plastic but company continues to claim it is wood

    I order from Seido Knives two sets of Executive Straight Edge Steak Knives and one set Executive Japanese Damascus Steel Knife Set for over 850,00 only to find out that these are no japanese knives, they are chinese fakes. The knives are of mediocre quality, they are by no means sharp and are a total waste of money. This company is a total scam and should be banned to sell any products in the ** and elsewere.

    I received a set of Seido Knives on the last week of July of 2023, and upon inspection of my set I noticed the boning knife handle had a defect in the wood. On Aug 4th I emailed the company and filed a claim. The claim form asks for but doesn't give you an option to upload any photos on their website so I sent a follow up email in regards to my claim with the photos attached. They responded on the 5th of August with an email apologizing and thanking me for the photos and informed me that their team was working hard to fix the issue. I have followed up numerous times requesting an update of when I would receive my replacement boning knife. Two emails a month for the 4 months requesting and asking for a resolution, either a replacement or refund. I have only ever received generic emails apologizing for the inconvenience this issue may have caused but was never given an actual update or ever sent a replacement boning knife after being promised their fulfillment team was working on sending one out. It's been 121 days since I filled my complaint and to no avail has a resolution been made. They only respond with an endless run around circle of emails stating the same thing over and over again, apologizing for the inconvenience, stating that satisfaction is of utmost importance to them, and they are committed to resolving this matter as quickly and efficiently as possible, also that they are in constant communication with their warehouse and are committed to providing you with the best possible customer experience. These emails never include an update, just the same generic auto generated email slightly reworded. When I attempted to call since I wasn't getting anywhere with emails, They phone number on their website is not valid.

    On July 2nd, I purchased a ******** steel chefs knife set as a gift for my father. It cost $159.99 and I was told it was going to be shipped within **** business days. However, there was an error which I believe was on the senders end where the delivery address had a typo, and the package was sent somewhere else and I never received it. I emailed the company, and was told that unless **** could fix it, I could do nothing about it. I contacted ****, and they told me that one it was out of their control, they were no longer liable. So I again emailed Seido asking for either a refund or a replacement product. This went back and forth until July 18th, when I was told that they were going to send me a replacement product out of courtesy. It is now September 17th, almost exactly 2 months since I was told that I was getting a replacement, and I have gotten nothing but promises of an update. I am still $159.99 short though. I want either the same product I bought to be resent, or for it to be refunded.

    August. 13. **** Order: SK1029906 Their website promotes Handforged Japanese knives with a hefty price when what you get says Made in China. I contacted then the day I received them and wanted to return them because of this. Each item webpage says there is a 100% Risk Free Money Back GUARANTEE. They emailed me back and said they are keeping 20% of my money equaling $159 for a handling fee. They are deceiving people with their website advertising and scamming people that aren't happy with their fake products. They are making bank with the 20% they keep from unhappy customers. I want to return the items and get a FULL 100% REFUND.

    I put the purchase order in on Jul 4th. The item was supposed to arrive within 4-7 business days but it arrived after 3 weeks The item when it arrived was damaged, the blade was bent. I sent a picture of the knife to the email address but only received a automated reply with no follow-up. No offer to refund or replace the item.I tried to call their number. But the number on their website is incomplete, after a bit of digging around I did f8nd the complete number, but it goes straight to voice mail with no introduction. I left a message but haven't gotten a call back.The knife was suppose to be Japanese hand made per website. But in fact it clearly is not, the damscus steel is in fact faked through etching. Their website is deceitful.They should be taken out of business.

    I purchased a knife 2-3 months ago and they sent me the wrong one so I contacted them and they said they would resolve it and ship the correct one. I follow up 2 weeks later with no further updates. 3 months later Ive already moved to another location and they arent doing anything about sending the wrong item Ive paid for!
