    I used my new Seido chef knife maybe 10 times before the blade separated from the handle and thus, can not be used. When I inquired about their "Lifetime Warranty" which covers all manufacturing defects, they replied this was not a manufacturing defect, and regardless, any possible return or replacement has to be done within 30 days of purchase.This is deceptive (and possibly fraudulent) advertising.Stay clear of Seido Knives.

    I ordered a knife January 2nd and never received it. After emailing I kept getting generic responses saying I'd get it but after months I started asking for a manager and then they started saying that even though I had shipping insurance it won't cover a refund so I'll have to wait. It was supposed to be a gift so it was long past when I even needed it!! They wouldn't give me contact info to call and they stopped responding when I said the phone number on their website doesn't even work!!! I ended up having to go through my credit card company to get a refund. This place is a 100% sham.

    I ordered a set of knives from this company on January 11, 2023 and have yet to receive them. They have taken my money and will not cancel my order or refund my money because they state order is already in process. Their promise of 100% money back guarantee is a sham. I am still waiting for these knives and all I get is emails telling me to be rest assured I will receive them. The knives are not Japanese but are Chinese that are inspired by Japanese. Anyway you can never get a hold of anyone by phone and you will never get your money back. Beware of this before you order. Btw the shipment tracking *****, order good quality knives from a reputable company the money is worth it and you most likely will not be as disappointed as I am with seido.
