    Business doubled my penalty without sending me proper notification then threatened to send me to collections. They cannot provide any record of sending me a payment notice because they never did.

    I signed up for parking nw in July and promptly cancelled as I only needed it for that month. I learned today that they have been attempting to charge my (thankfully locked) card for the past months even though I haven't used their services and cancelled months ago and do not even own a car at this point.

    ParkingNW offers monthly parking at a set rate of $285 a month. I park there everyday for work, however 4/7 days I cannot park in the lot as they oversell spots on a daily basis. I cannot park in another lot as their monthly pass is lot specific. So now Im not only paying them $285 a month but now also have to pay for street parking.When *** brought this up to them they say theres nothing they can do about drive up parking. I asked for a partial refund and the denied that to me as well.Im very unhappy with the service ParkingNW provides and look forward ti taking my business elsewhere.

    Dear *******, we're sorry to hear that as a monthly ****** you were unable to park at your designated parking facility.

    We have searched through our emails and phone call logs and could not find any communication or complaint from you regarding this issue. 

    Initially, we could not identify you as a monthly customer.  Upon further investigation, we found an email from the owner of the business that purchased monthly parking identifying you as an employee that we could communicate with regarding payments, permits and such.  This is how we determined which location you are referring to.  

     We also could not find any communication from the business owner (account holder) advising us of the issue you have brought forth either.

    Should you have communicated with us when you encountered capacity issues, we would have provided you with free parking in our parking facility immediately across the street at no charge.

    We also searched through our emails and phone log to see if there were any other instances of any other monthly customers not being able to park at this specific parking facility.  We could not find any.

    While we regret that there may have been a few instances when you were unable to park, the disputed amount seems to be equal to the total dollar amount for each and every day that your company purchased parking since the inception of the account.  While we are sorry to receive your complaint, the disputed amount assumes that you were never able to park at the parking facility.

    Parking NW has a building on *************** between 11th Ave and 12th Ave. There are two entrances on 11th, one on ***** and one on 12th. They give different lot numbers for different entrances so when you use an app like citified to pay for parking you have to make sure you list the correct entrance you used even though it is the same building and the same business you are paying. If you mess up, they ticket and fine you. I mistakenly marked the wrong entrance the first time I used the citified app to pay. Even though I paid $11.10 to park all day in the building, I was fined $54 for choosing the wrong entrance on the app. I have been parking in the lot at least four times a week for several years. I am upset that they refuse to acknowledge I paid Parking NW to park in the building for the day and are penalizing me for parking on the first floor rather than the second floor. I feel this is misleading and predatory behavior by Parking NW and I will not be paying the fine or patronizing Parking NW further. I have found a new lot. I would like them to dismiss the penalty.

    Dear ******, I reviewed the documents pertaining this penalty notice.  I see that we sent you a letter on November 3, 2023, informing you that this penalty notice had been voided on November 2, 2023.  The reason we sent you a letter was because you had sent us a letter regarding this complaint.  I also see that we sent you a couple of emails confirming that the penalty notice was voided when you followed up with us on November 9, 2023.

    Explanation on why this structure is considered two different garages:

    The two sections of this garage are not connected.

    Access to the upper levels is restricted after-hours. This means the parking session durations offered in this section do not go beyond the closing time.  For example, a customer can't buy an overnight ticket or a ticket that is good until 5am.

    On the other hand, the basement section is accessible 24/7 to the public. As such, a customer can purchase a ticket that is good for parking overnight or until 5am.

    Given this condition, they have to be two different locations and offer different rate structures and parking session durations.

    We have tried to make this as clear as possible on the app by putting pictures of the entrances for each section separately, having the words 'Basement' and 'Upper Levels' in the descriptions ... . 

    Additionally, the *** works most of the time pulling up the Basement or the Upper Levels when a customer opens the app onsite, but it's not 100%.

    We apologize for the confusion.

    I received a parking penalty from Parking NW for a vehicle I sold over 4 years ago. I requested documentation from ** DMV on the sale of the vehicle and provided that evidence to Parking NW but they don't take off the penalty off my record. They want to know the new owners name which DMV blocked out. I have no information on the current owner of the vehicle.

    I am writing this complaint regarding the failure of Parking NW to issue a refund and the failure to respond to my repeated attempts to resolve a duplicated parking charge. I am a monthly parking pass holder, and I have been disappointed with the way my request for a refund has been handled.On 1/17/2023 I had to pay $22 to get the gate open at the Auditorium Garage at the 4th Avenue Entrance since no one was in the booth next to the gate and I pushed the Press Button for Help multiple times, but no one answered. To leave the garage and go home, I had to pay $22 to the garages payment machine, but I am not supposed to pay since my parking has been paid through my monthly parking permit. Parking NW effectively charged me twice for the parking fee.I have tried to resolve this issue with Parking NW through various means of communication, including four emails sent on 1/17, 1/20, 1/26, and 2/4, as well as a phone call on 1/27. Despite promising me twice, during my first email and phone call, that I would receive a response regarding my refund request, I have yet to receive any updates on the status of my refund.I even took the step of emailing the owner of Parking NW on 2/4, mentioning that I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if I did not receive a response. As of 2/11/2023, I have still not received any response or updates regarding my refund.I am frustrated with the way my complaint has been handled by Parking NW. Parking NW has been in business since 2019 and has received a C rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Additionally, it has received two complaints in the past 12 months on BBB, with one complaint left unanswered.I demand that my refund be issued immediately and that a proper explanation be provided for why it has taken so long for Parking NW to respond to my multiple attempts to resolve this issue.     The monthly access card equipment at the garage where ******************** was malfunctioning and created the situation he encountered. We are very sorry about that! We took over this location recently and have been trying to resolve issues such as the one ************** encountered since. 

    Customers with these types of issues are able to ring our remote monitoring call center from the entrance or exit lanes and they can be let out once they describe the issue and provide certain information (call center will remotely vend the gate arm for the customer).  I am not sure why ************** was unable to get ahold of a remote monitoring agent that evening. 

    We have since replaced the access card system at this garage to alleviate such issues.     

    As it pertains to **************** refund, we somehow were unable to reverse his credit card transaction due to the nature of the equipment's credit card processing and it took us some time to address. 

    I understand that this is not **************** issue! 

    I emailed ************* on February 15th and again yesterday asking for the last 4 digits of the credit card he used so we can refund his money.  I have not heard back.  We can also issue a credit to his monthly parking account but I dont want to do that unless that is what he would like. 

    I would appreciate it if ************** could contact us so we can refund his $22.  Thank you

    In October of 2022, on behalf of my mother, ***** *************** who is not fluent in English, I called Parking NW to pay for back charges on my mother's parking permit. I had paid several months worth of back charges because the companies system had changed and were no longer doing automatic payments to past customers. My mother was not aware this. They stated they had emailed but they ended up having the incorrect email address. After getting all back charges cleared, the customer service agent, ******* stated she would cancel the old parking permit...the one that had the old charges and keep the new one we had create in order for my mother to park without getting a ticket. In November my mother notices they had double charged her for that month. I checked the account online and noticed that ******* did not cancel the old parking pass like she stated. These are identical parking passes for 1 vehicle. I immediately contacted Parking NW the 30th of November but didn't hear back from them until December 2nd. When I call, they ask to be emailed. Because they couldn't help resolve the issue when I had called, my mom was double charged again in December. Each charge is $235. On December 8th, I received an email back stating they would issue a refund early the next week. December 30th, no refunds were given. Emailed them again on the 30th, no reply. Called again, and was told to email. I said I have been emailing and what the issue was and was told "I will make sure the manager sees this". January 23, I still do not see any kind of refund. I tell them that I will file a complain with BBB and dispute the charge through credit card company. I received an email back immediately and was asked what the last 4 digits of the credit card used was. I gave them them the numbers. I asked on January 26th if the refund was issued. As of today, January 30th, no reason and no refund.

    Hello, I work in a building that this establishment runs, and I park there daily WITH a parking permit. On 9/27/22, I forgot to put my parking pass on the dash, however, it was located on the seat still visible. I received a ticket. After following up with the establishment and presenting my parking pass, I was denied.

    I used this lot for months before this new company took over , I was paying on the old app for the old attendant and was ticketed for non payment I contacts them and submitted proof of the payments from my bank the refused to talk to me and sent various automated replies that were not clear saying the same thing asking for proof of payment . Meantime issuing more tickets , I emailed again requesting help and acknowledgment that I had a couple of them that were valid tickets for non payment that had occurred SINCE I became aware of the change in company and the need to use a completely different app to pay .. I asked for a monthly rate (which is higher then the daily rate ) I since then have been targeted and ticketed for things like parking over the line when the cars on either side where over their lines and I had no choice and the other cars were NOT ticketed and today I was ticketed at 9:05 as I was paying using their app that wont load and wont even allow me to use my credit card without trying multiple times so while Im trying to pay on their app they are ticketing me at 9:05 AM ! I have asked for the ones I sent proof for to be removed and they wouldnt , I have asked for a settlement amount and monthly parking and they wont !
