This company opened up a paid lot near the new Grand Central Bakery and ********** in downtown *********. There was inadequate signage that this and only this lot required payment, unlike all the other parking availability that is free around the area. I got an exorbitant parking fine for parking in the lot even though the photos proved there wasnt adequate signage about required payment and fees. The appeal process was useless, inconvenient and provided no easy way to follow up or get real answers to your questions. I didnt see the original notice and the late penalties that got slapped on doubled the fine and are utterly unreasonable for a lot that no one else was parking in on an uncrowded day. Since I got this fine lots of bright yellow signs have been put up so the company is aware they werent adequately communicating that theyre the only lot in the neighborhood that requires payment, but they had no tolerance or leniency for using their spaces despite their failure to advertise the fact. Im tempted never to use the businesses near this lot again and will absolutely never park in a Skyy Parking lot again, not that they put any signage up to let you know youll be fined for using their spaces.

The bright yellow signs have been up prior to you receiving your parking violation.

I parked in their lot on NW 12th & **** on 6/28/23. I paid the $12.00 parking fee on my credit card. Their machine did not print the receipt to put on my windshield. I received a parking ticket a week later. I called immediately to advise that their machine did not print the ticket, but I had the transaction number confirmed by my credit card company. I have contacted the company 11 times since June and left voicemails to return my calls. Zero response from the company. I also sent a copy of the reference number and credit card receipt via mail twice. Again, zero response from the company. I tried to use their website to contact them but it would not allow me to upload the credit card receipt image. I have now received a notice from a collection agency for $104.87. They are clearly a fraudulent company trying to scam innocent people. There was an event at Keen Footwear that evening and many people parked in this lot and did not get a printed receipt either to place on their windshield.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out 6 months later. Skyy Parking does not operate any parking equipment - we just enforce parking compliance. Your review should have been directed at the company who operates the parking lot and equipment. Thanks and have a nice day.

I apparently got a parking ticket back in June of this year. I did not receive a ticket from this company in the mail and started getting phone calls from a debt collection agency. The agency had mailed the information to the wrong address and I gave them the correct address. I finally received the ticket information in the mail on 11/19 and the fine had doubled plus interest on top of that. I was in the wrong and made the mistake of parking illegally but I think that it is unfair that I have to pay the extra fees since I did not receive the ticket until about 5 months after the violation.I was picking up a delivery for Grub Hub and was parked there for under 5 minutes. I have paid the fine but think that I should get a refund of the extra fees. Also would be helpful if they had their number available on their website and if they would answer the phone.

If you would have had accurate address information registered with your state DMV then you would have received all correspondence.

This business is predatory. They sent a final notice letter with an additional $57 charge without ever sending a first notice of any violation. Now I owe $114. Signage in the lot was also not visible, leading myself and doubtless many others to believe this was a free public lot.

Notices are always sent within a week of the violation. Postings throughout the lot are visible from all directions and in plain sight.

Absolute scam. Received a ticket 2 months later. No initial notice. Pulled into the completely empty parking lot to ask for directions at a local business. Left 10 minutes later. Late fee was $57 dollars, total was $114 on a $7 parking spot.

Did you reach out to our office? Was your DMV address current? Please make an attempt to follow the appeal process.

I have a story similar to others here. I parked to pick up food to go from next door. I didn't see any signs and thought it was after paying hours anyway since it was after 7pm. Two months later I got a bill for $120. It was doubled because I failed to pay the original fee, even though I never received an original ticket. In fact, the ticket I received 2 months later was dated 2 days after I had parked there, but already had the 30 day late fee included. It's an absolute scam, obviously they know exactly what they're doing. If anyone's going through this my advice is to file a consumer complaint with the ****** ********** of ******* and also contact the ***************** Parking so that both can continue to build cases against this business taking advantage of their community.

This parking lot is pay to park. We are not required to give free parking regardless of parking duration. However, we have included not one but two free 10 minute parking stalls specifically for food order pick *** and delivery. If you choose to disobey the postings you will be subjected to a parking notice.

There were no signs posting No Public Parking or payment required. I was there less than 10 minutes, and it was my first and last time to go to ********* Main Street commons. ******** are not posted that customers for Grand Central Bakery must pay a permit fee and parking fee to shop at theirs and other businesses, this sounds like a scam to collect money. If as Skyy Parking says it is clearly marked, not sure why so many people miss seeing them? Again this company seems to be out to take advantage of customers for the businesses adjacent to the parking lot.Not sure about spending much time shopping in ********* since I dont know where parking is free or unrealistic charges will be billed.Watch out for this company!

I agree with **** and ***** A that some justice has to be brought about to this company. Billing people for parking that they missed seeing the sign for is ok. Even having a high bill rate per minute is tolerable. But charging 6 times the parking as a fee for Pay by Phone plus administrative fee is not legal. No company that I have interacted with in decades has ever charged these kinds of "late fees" and in this case it is late if you drove through the parking lot. I don't live in ******** ** but was traveling their for vacation and unfortunately drove through this parking lot. Back in MA this would have been solved easily by bringing it to the attention of one of the ** stations. If there are any ** stations/reporters who go after helping people with such cases, that might be the best route to take. Thanks. Skyy Parking folks, what happens if someone is not able to pay for 3 months, 4 months? It keeps doubling every month?? And if you are collecting all this money, have someone pickup your phone lines. My notice says "Pay by Phone Required" but how do I really do that? I don't leave my credit card numbers on voicemail!

-10 stars not right in leaving a ticket with no warning. Your company stinks. Im really leaving no stores because you guys are not a good company. How many people have said they did not see the warning they had to pay the park early. Read your reviews. They are not good.
