      Was discriminated against for being a white disabled female veteran and on top of that was discriminated against for the past landlord at ********************* apartment in ******* ca when I repeatedly complained of smoking in the units there was a fire may 1 2024 which could have taken my life I was kicked out and arrested because *************************** at ********************* apartments lets drug dealers and other shady people live there and arsonists who almost burn down my unit. I had video evidence and I gave it to firefighters of one of her tenants lighting building on fire almost catching onto mine and she got me arrested she got the whole neighborhood to gang up on me she even had her lawyer write a statement saying I was violent I have already uploaded the picture of the fire to better business bureau because she is a psychopath and a slumlord. **************************************** management ****************** should be ashamed of themselves for almost getting people killed she even told me to cover it up and not tell firefighters or show the video and to not tell them she allows smoking in premises. I would not rent here you will be discriminated against and almost murdered and no one will do anything about it.

      Ive lived in ************* apartments in *********** for 2-3 years now. They have strictly enforced parking on every single tenant expect a few tenants in the very back of the apartments. The rule was stated to us that if you park in a visitor parking space for longer than 3 days , you will either be towed immediately with no warning or you will receive a tow sticker in your car for tow within the next two days. Recently, those rules have only applied to certain tenants. There has been a truck in a visitor spot with wood blocks under the back tires for over 2 months now with multiple reports on it. It has had two separate tow stickers on it that have been removed and ignored. And I personally have emailed about it at least 5 times now. The apartments refuse to do anything and they refuse to enforce the rules on these people. Not to mention, the neighborhood connected to our apartments keep parking in our lot and walking through the park to go home. They enforce parking on nice cars who they know will pay to get their cars out. We had a bug infested home all summer long that they did nothing about, they extremely neglect the back of the apartments. Security doesnt come back here, the yard work people barely come back here and they dont walk back here to check on anything. Rolling hills has the absolute worst management right now. They dont care about the tenants and they dont enforce the same rules on everyone even though we have all signed the same exact lease and have been told the same exact rules. They charge up the a** for un updated apartments from the 70s. We have extreme wood rot in all cabinets and drawers throughout the home. Mold in every corner that they have painted over many times. Holes in the ceiling that lead straight to the attic. The railings on our building are coming loose and are a hazard. Trees are never trimmed and some have fallen extremely close to the buildings. Management doesnt care at all about these concerns. Stay far away!!!!!!

Our management has followed up on all reported concerns,including improperly parked vehicles and the pest control issues you experienced over the summer with treatment provided by our professional vendor.Our team has also provided instructions regarding secondary parking areas and extended the contact information for our courtesy patrol for neighborhood persons parking in our community. We are disappointed that our service has not aligned with your expectations for living at Rolling Hills and hope that we'll have the chance to earn your satisfaction in the future.

      I have never had a worse experience than Zinfandel Village, multiple bed bug infestations, cockroaches. Of but they call them water bugs f****** gross and they are ABSOLUTE TRASH

      Honestly, my entire experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. If you are looking for an apartment management group who devalues the lives and well-being of their residents, then check out ***. Im not speaking directly about the Landlord or the office staff on site, they have always been nice, im speaking about the *** leadership. They make very nuanced decisions that keep their residents beholden to their unfair description of livable standards. If you live here, you will ask yourself is this legal?, for a plethora of things. Specifically, why am i paying this dollar amount in rent, versus the services being offered. I have made most of my complaints known to the property manager (formerly *******) and nothing was done. It honestly feels like there is no hope when trying to express your problems to this management group. Do not live here. Many stories to share past **** characters. (I make a low-income/just starting salary 26 years old)

      Although it's tough to explain in a few paragraphs just what a horrible experience we've had with both ************************* and CTL, I will try. From the day of our move in there has been issues. I was told there were a few areas that they had found in "their" walk though (we were not present) She told us a couple minor findings and to sign the sheet, which I did. She said I had 72 hrs to inform them of anything they may of missed. There was a lot of issues they missed and I took photos for proof and documented everything we had found. Some were minor but there were many...ie, dog and human hair painted into the walls, the washer was unusable (mold/dog hair) but the worst was the apartment was totally infested with fleas. I didn't notice the first day until my children and fiance were covered in flea bites, so much so that our sheets were covered in blood spots. We let the on-site manager know the serious situation and they did schedule pet control but it wasn't for several days later. Meanwhile I had to rent a storage unit to store the remaining items from the move. This took a heavy toll. I couldn't even set my baby down due to fleas attacking him and had to stay with relatives for two days. The worst and most dangerous thing they did was lie about the time the pest control arrived and left that day. It was important that I knew the correct time it was finished for the safety of my children. All and all, I tried to let them know and get a resolution but was met with condescending, unprofessional and totally uncaring attitude from the on-site manager, regional manager and I even sent a certified letter to the President of CTL and got no response. They simply stopped responding. This whole experience has been a total nightmare for my family, extended family and everyone that had to help us tarp furniture, cover boxes, move in and out of the storage unit. ************************* and CTL Management are the most unprofessional, uncaring people I've ever had to deal with. Period.

      Horrible practices of billing former residents from collections department threatening negative credit marks and rental history with NO prior communication first about charges owed. When trying to get in touch with the collections department you cant get through. The actual property ************************* apartments escalated my remaining charges to collections less than 30 days since I had even moved out from the place. The staff is conveniently not answering the phone and now says they cannot talk to me until their manager is back in the office . Just a whole team of dishonest, racist staff.

      I live in one of the communities called "Rolling Hills", The place is run by RATS, and other pests, they got into my cars engine and caused alot of damage, and are continuing to cause damage to my vehicle. When I called the rental office to report, they told me they are ramping up thier pest control in 2023. WHAT ABOUT NOW? I asked and no answer was given. When I told them of the damage, they said they wouldnt pay for it. My renters insurance and my ************* said it was a property management concern. I wrote a letter to the corporate office with pictures of the damage, as well as a photo of a dead rat caught in the belt of my engine. I had to have the vehicle towed and it cost me ****** for the repairs. There are literally so many rats, my dog refuses to walk outside of my apartment. She has been bitten, these rats are the size of a small cat. Im sure Im not the only one who is getting damage in this place. Its run down, it looks very Ghetto. Dont move here, even if the cost of renting is better than somewhere else. I need to move somewhere else, But ive been priced out of other places. So I need to warn anyone trying to move here. just dont!! and the **************** NEVER ANSWERS THIER PHONE.

We have also reached out to our landscaping vendor to take care of any holes in the ground where pests may be residing. Our upper management would be happy to review your request for reimbursement for damages, however we need the request in writing in addition to any invoices you have for repairs.
