Ordered two pair of boots for Christmas gifts on December 18th and received a shipping notification on December 20th. Since then, nothing has happened, the tracking number shows "Awaiting Carrier Pickup". Contacted customer service, they said they would look into it and today I received an email stating my case had been closed. Nothing else said about the order, just a survey and that's it.Business Response

I ordered a package that was never delivered. ************* opened an investigation with the shipping ontrac that took 3 weeks then closed my case without any updates. Still no package and no refund. I am rejecting this response because: when I talked to ******* the coilmbia lady said she couldnt do anything because the proudct shows it was delivered. I told them that I have ring images showing nothing was there. Columbia stated that they called **** they actually did not because when I got the email saying it was closed the post office was not closed. She also said that they dont actually talked to **** they just track the same number I do. All she could offer me was 20 percent off not even replacement of the jacket. This horrible.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't see any effect to help the situation. Sorry about the issue but feel free to ship the item back on your expense and wait 2 months to see if it's possible to fix. Considering it's winter and that's the purpose I purchased the jacket in the first place. Also almost all winter jackets are sold out and only the rejects are available. Also to purchase something from Columbia online store sounds horrible from the reviews I have read. Pay for shipping and paying for returns. At least other retailers offer free shipping and returns. I got lucky that the jacket actually fit correctly but that is doesn't mean the next one will. Columbia has 3 jackets online but 2 have too much stuff going on and 1 runs to big, or that's what people say. We wouldn't have this issue if there was some type of quality control from your manufacturing facility in **********

Because ******* from customer service didn't have anything he could do to resolve this issue. 12/20 we ordered two coats, laid $25 for two day shipping. 12/27 no coats, wouldnt refund, opened an investigation. 12/30 order two new coats without being refunded, promised two day shipping. It wasnt shipped two days. Still dont have it. Hasnt moved from ****** in days. First package shows no information with ***. Now second says weather delay. No movement since last week. On 12/15/24, I ordered a Womens ****** Mountain Long Insulated Jacket. The purchase price was submitted on my credit card. I received an email with order/tracking information stating I would receive my order on 12/23/24. On 12/21, the package was received at the local OnTrac facility. The delivery date has been changed multiple times but the tracking information states the package is still at OnTrack. Today is 1/6/25 and I have not received my order. I have chatted online and called twice and have been given the run-around. I was informed that they were investigating what happened. It is very clear the package is lost and I will not receive it. I do not understand why such a large company will not refund me my money while they continue the investigation. Why must they hold my money when it is not my fault? They did not try to resolve this issue by resending the order overnight nor have they issued a refund.Business Response

I purchased a coat 11/25 but have not received it. The carrier site indicates item cant be located and to contact the seller. I have reached out to Columbia several times in an effort to get my money back or a new coat and they have refused to do anything. I spoke with ***** today and he indicated the item was going to be returned to them and they could do nothing until that happens. However, the message from the carrier does not say the item is being returned to warehouse. It says the item cant be located as well as the message was entered into the tracking website on 12/18 which would allow ample time for the item to be returned to Columbia.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
They did not address the issue. They simply restated their policy, which is the crux of my issue. I have provided proof that the shoes are defective - yet the only option is to pay more money out of my own pocket to ship the defective shoes back to them. They provided a faulty product, they should be responsible.
