Towed my car out of my personal spot at my apartment at 3am, when I called they said I didn't have a parking permit my contract with my leasing agent doesn't say anything about needing one to park in the spot I pay for... I attempted to correct the guy and say nobody has one to which he replied " no your wrong" I responded by telling him then there's 50 vehicles here needing towed to which he laughed told me he didn't have time for my ******** and tried to hang up, missed the reciever and was badmouthing me over to his coworkers workers calling me all sorts of colorful things. He then hung up when he realized, I had to call back to make an appointment to pick up my car an hour later. I showed up and nobodies there, call they tell me just wait, nobody shows, after several calls and an hour of waiting one of their employees shows up dropping a car off and locking up had no idea I was there and only helped me as he felt bad I was waiting for over an hour just for my car. Id like a full refund as my car was taken FROM MY PAID FOR PARKING SPOT and I had to jump through hoops and get lucky that I ran into a nice employee. Also didn't inform me of after hours gate price which only occurred because they never sent anyone.

My husband (****) and I had a 2000 ***** Accord that was towed for improper reasons from our apartment complex on June 11th 2024. We both think this was a clear example of predatory towing as the tow truck driver had been sitting in the apartment parking lot for about 3 hours when my husband removed the rear license plate (the front plate was not on either) to fix a couple dents on the car. When my husband went into the house to use the bathroom (no longer then 10 mins) the tow truck driver took the opportunity to tow our vehicle for not having visible registration on the vehicle. When **** went to talk to someone at the tow yard the employee would not tell him why our vehicle was taken and told my husband he was calling the police because he was trespassing. Feeling like we were victims of predatory towing, I filed a complaint with the Oregon Board of Towing. After I mailed the complaint I found out that the owner of 21st Century Towing was on the Board which I feel is why I have yet to get any response from the Board of Towing or from 21st Century Towing. I have attached the forms I sent along with a complaint form that is exactly filled out just like the one I mailed to the Board of Towing. Should any of the documents need further explanation I will be more than happy to do so at any time.

My car was towed to an unmanned lot. I was aware of the toe after I got off work. At 5 PM, when I called, they told me it was after hours and if I wanted to pick it up, I'd have to make an appointment and pay after hours, storage fees, etc. So I made an appointment for 6:30 PM. Same day period when I arrived at the tow yard at 6:30 PM. Nobody was there period I called. They told me they didn't know I was there and that somebody would be there shortly period after 30 minutes. I called again and was told I'll be fine and somebody will be there soon, but they couldn't give me an ETA. Period after another few minutes of waiting, I called back and I told them I would like to make an appointment for tomorrow. They told me I cannot period I asked why and the *** told me that I would have to call tomorrow at eight a m to make an appointment period I have a child that i'm trying to take to to school and I have to go to work by 10 AM. I need to make an appointment but he refused told me. I'll be fine. Somebody will be there soon and hung up on me period the place that I was required to wait at there was no cover. There is no safety. It was in a very unsafe part of town, and No one around period I called back.I told them I feared for my safety while waiting for so long and it was getting dark, the *** told me I'll be fine. Again. I requested, cancel today's appointment and make an appointment for tomorrow. He told me, just wait. The driver will be there soon and hung up on me period they're refusing to release my car. I can't make an appointment. I'm now having to pay storage fees. When I could have had my car today. They're charging me after hour fees. It's already an absurd amount of money and II would like a resolution. I would like the storage fees to be waived. I would like to toe to be waved because of how i've been treated today

My truck was stolen and 21st century towing towed it from private property on 06/12/24. I went to pick up my truck on 06/15/24 and was told $581 to get my truck back. They refused to give me a printout with a list of the fees they were charging. I lost my truck $581 is more than the city allows them to charge.

At 3:30 a.m. 21st century Towing came into my parking garage and and stole my vehicle I had a parking sticker in the car from when I first moved into the building I had to ****** it from my old car and put it into the new car that I just bought not even 12 hours before it was stolen by this tow company. I had an appointment with my property manager to register my car with the apartments again because it was a brand new car and I needed another sticker unfortunately my apartment leasing manager is not here at 3:30 a.m. she's here at 8:30 a.m. so when I went downstairs to get the paperwork from the car the car was gone my property manager looked on the cameras and seen that this tow truck came and got it at 3:30 a.m. I went down there they would not let me get my property out the car nor would they even listen to my property manager about bringing the car back because it was illegally towed

The day previously I met a cold enforcement officer and was notified that I had to move my vehicle that was partially in the street. The rest of the way into my driveway. So that way, none of the vehicle vehicle tires were in the strperiod. I got my warning and talked with the code enforcement officer. And understood and both agreed to me the vehicle which I did. the following day. My vehicle was told stating that my vehicle was not in good points and was goingna be told out of my driveway. After the day before, the code enforcement officer had no define me that my car wasn't compliance where it was parked after I moved it for him. Then answer that they also told my other vehicle. That was part next to my home right by my driveway. By the same person a few minutes later stating that my bumper was partially in frontom, my driveway also. When they ran the plates and tags, they came back to the address that they were currently at, so they knew that might be a call wrone at that address, and that was my vehicle. So they decided to tow both of my vehicles with my son's medication carsena also. My wallet was in there it's my money and they also took that. So altogether after speaking with the code. Enforcement officer was notified that my car wasn't compliant after moving it the day before. This company decided to take both of my vehicles and i'm on record and go rifling through it and take my contacts in items out of my vehicle.

My elderly mom had her car ****** picked out of an apartment parking lot after 30 mins visiting her friend. When I called them to figure out what was going on they told me it would be one price and when we got there they raised the cost over what we were told. They basically bully you and raise the cost cuz you have no choice but to pay since they stole your car in their cherry picking scam. On top of that when I got my elderly mom out there to get her car they were less than accommodating to her having mobility issues and told us it wasnt their problem!!!! In my opinion since its their property its ?? their issue. Had a word exchange with the worker cuz I moved the car so my mom could get it and he starting talking c*** Funny thing is their building is unsafe to get in since they have a ramp that is full of trip hazards and has no rails. This is a very shady company and all the reviews are correct. Companies like this need to be ran out of business if they cant be ethical!!!!

On September 18, 2023 at 12am in the morning my vehicle was towed out of my apartment complex for alleged "parked not in the designated car port" reason. Management of ********************** had provided notice to 21st century towing regarding an ongoing maintenance work in the complex which effects the used of designated car ports of a number of residents including myself. Upon approaching the driver to try an explain to him that he is doing a mistake, he dismissed me saying that the vehicle should be parked where it should be parked, and it should've been parked there all along. despite other vehicle of other residents with designated car ports parked in the same area my vehicle was. I had a blatant offer of payment on the spot which I refused. I immediately tried to open my cars door to prevent driver from leaving but he floored the gas pedal and aggressively exited the apartment complex, nearly taking me out with the opened door of my car and without stopping to check for traffic. Later that day when I was receiving my car from the impound yard, a different driver, upon hearing the story, and letting me know that he also patrols that apartment complex and is well aware of current situation with construction, confirmed that this vehicle would not have been towed if it was him, and also stated that the driver involved is known to be an aggressive driver. I find this to be an example of predatory towing practices, especially due to the fact that there were other vehicles with same parking designation situation parked close by, let alone an incompetent staff with aggressive manner of doing their job and putting registered owners of the vehicles at risk of being physically harmed. At the very least I seek a disciplinary action/termination of employment for the involved employee of 21st Century Towing.

At roughly 7:00 pm. On 8/2/2023 21st century towing. tried hooking up my car to there tow truck. When I was at a friend's apartment. There is not any designated parking places at these apartments. There is not permit parking or assigned parking. They have been illegally towing people from these apartments alot. They have even towed vehicles of people who live there. They did not have my car fully hooked up to there tow truck. When I came outside. I was only in my friends apartment for 20 minutes. ****** law states they have to release a vehicle if it is not fully hooked up, which my car was not. I was not blocking a entrance. Or parked by a fire hydrant. Or parked in a blind spot. I was parked there for 20 minutes not over 24 hours. I was not even in someone's assigned spot. They broke 3 laws when illegally towing my vehicle. After I stated to them ****** laws and they had to release my vehicle without a fee. He told me he would not do it unless I paid him ****** or he was going to finish the hookup and take my car. I called the police to get assistance. They said they don't assist in stolen vehicles. I have filed a complaint with my bank for a fraudulent transaction. Since I was forced to do the tranction against my will. I want the towing company held responsible. They were literally trying to steal my car. If I hooked up to there tow truck illegally. I would be charged with UUMV. I want my money back ****** that they illegally took from me. I have also disputed the charge with my bank. I filed a complaint with the ****** department of justice. Claim number ******
