    Just over 1 yr ago we replaced our tanked gas water heater with a tankless option from them. we have had them out for 4 warranty calls in that time due to the unit malfunctioning. During the third visit, a tech other than the one that installed it came out and said that unit never should have been installed in the first place as its sensors are designed for 0-1500ft elevation and cannot be recalibrated to the nearly 5k ft elevation we are at. They told us they would be replacing the unit with a different model that has manufacturer specs designed for use at our elevation. In the meantime they were supposed to order a new burner assembly unit to limp this unit along until their install team could do the replacement. Called the manufacturer and they did not order the replacement burner assembly. I did not pay thousands of dollars to be left with no hot water to care for a newborn and have constant issues with the unit and the company. Would not recommend and have been brushed off time and time again and not taken seriously during this whole ordeal unless my husband calls them and says the exact same thing I am saying. LEAP: Listen, empathize, act and produce a result. They have failed at the most critical point of customer care and I am done being nice in my dealings with Central Oregon Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.
