*** who was the one that came to make me a new key for my car, not only did he charge me upfront but its been 4-5 days since he was paid and he has not completed the job. He is yelling at me for no reason every time I try to ask for an explanation and he tells me that hes not going to work on my car anymore because hes done with my ******** and because I keep contacting him to look for answers. He also went to yell at the guy from the dealership which was so embarrassing for me. Hes been making threats and I do not feel safe any more since hes a locksmith and can possibly get into my home if he wants to. He says that I now owe him $1,000 since hes going to charge me $1 per minute every time I call him. He also said that my car is now his car because he has worked on it many hrs. I agreed to pay for a service which was get me a new car key, but not only has he not completed it in 4 days but he now wants to charge me per hr/min? Ridiculous. He also messed up the electrical stuff and now my car wont work. He makes threats every time he calls me or I call him. Im having so much anxiety that I now have to look for a safe place for me, my kids and my car because I told him that I want nothing to do with his business anymore and that I will loose my money but he said that he doesnt care and will come to work on my car again. Im so afraid of this man and the way hes been treating me and going off at me for the last couple days. Please help me find a solution.Initial Complaint

Somebody stole my car key so I called a locksmith and it was *** he came he worked couldn't get it programmed to start my car so he left then it took him almost a week to come back try again was unsuccessful it hasn't refund any of my money at all I'm not expecting to get all of it back but I am expecting to get something back he did not complete the work that he was called to doInitial Complaint

I lost my key in a store at closing time on May 7th and had to call a locksmith because my dogs were in the car. After 2 hrs sitting in the cold, "***" from Salem locksmith showed up and took another 30 mins to open my car after attempting to charge me $540 for a key, I told him I'd rather break a window. He dropped the cost to 450. Then was unable to program the key correctly so the remote would work. He told me he would come out in 2 days to my house with a new key that would work, and also reprogram my old key which I found the next day in the store, then he never showed up. After I called him, he said he had to order a new key and it would be there the following Tuesday, he never called me back after I messaged him asking if the key came. So I called him which he told me again the key was coming the next week, again no show no call and no,response to my messafing him, I called again a week later now June 1 2023 which he told me he had everything he needed and would come out the next day,, then said that he still didnt have the key and had to wait for the mail on June 2nd at 10 am. And check with him then, when I did he then said the key still hadn't come yet and I told him I didn't believe him I felt like he was lying to me at which point he started cursing at me using foul language and hung up on me I called back and he started talking to me disrespectfully he's very unprofessional and dishonest and I either want my money back because I have a key that only starts my car and does not work remotely and he has not kept his word or promises to me over and over again for almost a month now. and he still claiming he can't come out with a key that works which I have paid forInitial Complaint

I called ****** locksmith on Nov 18th. Sure they came out within 30 minutes, then the adventure began!Kid said he had been out all night after looking at our lock and said he would be back within an hour along with his boss. NO ONE showed up until 6:30 at night. At 11:30 that night our lock was no closer to being fixed.Had to chain up out door. Next morning, kid showed up an hour after I called to let us in our business. Said they'd be there by noon to fix our lock. Again, no communication AND NO ONE showed up until 4:30. At 5:00, I got an alert that my card had been charged almost $900! No one asked me to charge my card AND the work was still being done! I left messages for ***, but no answer. His "tech", who looked like he had no clue what he was doing and scared some of our guests, was there late. Left the keys with an employee. Told the employee it was all good.When employees went to leave that night, the keys didn't work. Had to chain the door again.Next morning texted *** about all the issues. When he finally texted back, he was very rude and sarcastic. When I was able to speak with him on the phone, he was the MOST unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I told him I wasn't paying for what wasn't working. He resorted to calling me names. Are you kidding?! He continued to yell, scream and call me names. I asked him if he treated all his customers like that. He hung up several times while yelling and even threatening me at one point. His threats were sad because he lied about fixing the lock. He lied about "having video" that I had given them my card(which I did on Friday for them to come out and look to see if they could fix our lock). He stated that he had video from Saturday, which I was not there at the same time as them to give them my card.I could continue, but there's no reason. *** and his "tech" are just plain AWFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, which they don't tell you about even when you ask. Including a 5% card fee.Initial Complaint

I LOST MY TRUCK KEYS IN A POND AT ****** ON JULY 18TH AROUND 7 OR 8ISH PM HAD MY MOM CALL A LOCKSMITH TO MAKE ME ANOTHER SET WITH A KEYFOB WELL *** THE LOCKSMITH MADE ME TWO KEYS AND TOLD ME HE WOULD HAVE TO ORDER A KEYFOB SO I TOLD HIM OK THATS FINE WELL HE GOT THE KEYFOB IN THE MAIL AND IVE CALLED HIM PROBABLY 6-7 TIMES TO BRING ME THE KEYFOB SINCE I JUST PAID HIM $732.90 HE SAID THIS WEEK HE WAS DOWN IN ****** HE CALLED ME AT 9:44 PM SAID HE COULD DO IT AFTER HE WAS DONE THAT NIGHT WELL HE NEVER SHOWED UP AND I GOT A TEXT AT 2:15 AM SAYING HE WAS ALMOST TO ALBANY AND WOULD CATCH UP WITH ME LATER SO I CALLED THE BUISNESS NOT KNOWING HE WAS THE ***** AND TOLD HIM I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM GETTING MY KEYFOB AND THAN SAYS SOMTHING ABOUT TRYING TO GET HIM INTO TROUBLE CAUSE HES THE ***** THAN CONTINUES TO MAKE EXCUSES WHY HE DIDNT SHOW UP THAN SAYS HE ACCIDENTALLY TEXTS THE WRONG NUMBER SUPPOSEDLY AT 1:30 AM. I TOLD HIM I WAS SLEEPING AND TRIED TO MAKE OT SOUND LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT TEXTING BACK TO GIVE THE KEYFOB TO HIS ****** LOCKSMITH SO I CAN HAVE IT DONE HE SAID HE WOULD THAT WAS TUESDAY AND HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING BACK THE KEYFOB COST ME $149.99 TODAYS DATE IS AUG,4,2022 AND I WANT MY KEYFOB I DONT WANT TO KEEP HAVING TO CALL HIMCustomer Answer
