TRS Towing and *********************** illegally towed our vehicle. The driver was rude and would not even try to hear me out. **** because I asked him to hold for police, that it was coersion.

    Business Response

The complainant had reached an agreement with the property management co.  The vehicle was towed from the apartment complex of the outer perimeter curbside parking spaces.  This part of the premises is owned and maintained by the by the apartment complex.  The parking area is not part of the city street, well within the property boundary lines which runs along the roadway.  The complainant was part of the property management team at one time from my understanding but no longer is employed.  The complainant from my understanding is not the owner of the vehicle per dmv records.  Due to the complainant being a past employee and past tenant the Apt Complex had decided to cover the towing charges.  As of the Attorney demanding for a no charge give back, did not happen.  The parking facilities owners or agents requested the Private ************************ and signed for the vehicle to be towed at the time of the tow.  As for law enforcement being called, the claimant called the police.  During tow the claimant was driving erratic weaving and endangering others on the roadway, for safety concerns the driver stopped.  Police officers explained to them that it was a private property  and a legal matter, not a vehicle theft matter.   Upon the driver waiting he commenced standby charges which accumulated onto the tow bill.  The vehicle was redeemed by a gentleman who showed right to the vehicle along with photo id.  The claimants attorney was made aware of the property line and street structure.

I have contacted the ****** tow board spoke with ****** who is assisting me in researching the complaint and moving forward. I am seeking to also move forward with criminal charges for theft of a vehicle against driver and or towing company.  This should have never taken place. You will see that the ***** I provided shows its public larking and public street

You will find that I did record the police response please listen to the whole conversation and I dispute ***s claim that the police explained to me it was on private property the officer actually explains the opposite of that. The **** states different and only reason why it went at no cost to us is because the attorney for the property management agreed to have that paid in full for us. That is why *** did not take on the bill or ate up. The bill was because the property management attorney explained the property management that they were in the wrong that is exactly what happened and Id be more than happy to give you my attorneys information and provide to you so that you can also call my attorney and see exactly what it is that was done with that being said, I had planned on being very modest and just letting things be but because *** fails to accept responsibility for the wrongdoing I will be seeking criminal charges against both the property management and manager and ***. Somebody needs to be charged with criminal charges for stealing my vehicle. It was a theft of a vehicle , I dont care how anybody wants to see it but the proof is there the officer stating that I would probably get my truck back and More tells me a whole lot the officer stating that I will be able and he kinda chuckles on that says that I should be able to  get any pictures of the truck when it was parked there that the towing company will be able to provide that to me its pretty much at that point telling me that the *** set themselves up for failure. They need to stop doing this and that is why Im gonna move forward because they cannot keep doing this to other people just because they are friends or they know, and they have worked with a property management as in this situation , ****** knew the *** employees. She has worked very closely with *** in the past, and I know that because she disclosed that information to me when she went ahead and requested for *** to come in and take and do the contract with them I had chosen Retriever towing, failed to come out and meet me on the day of siding a contract. They never contacted me back and so therefore ****** took on to Hyatt to getting contracting  *** and she told me straight out that she actually had worked very closely with them in the past she knew them very well so working in cahoots with somebody to take somebodys vehicle off of public parking off of the public street with in a public parking spot   is illegal.  I have made contact with. I believe her name is ****** at the tow association and with ****, who works for the board of towing ****************** of towing and **** is moving forward with my complaint taking the time to review my complaint, as for ****** told me that I am with within every right to seek criminal charges and that is what Im going to do at this point in time. Today, as a matter of fact, I spoke with my attorney, and my attorney will be looking into who I need to speak to who would be the correct person to speak to in order to go forward with criminal charges. My attorney is *********************** with Oregon Law Center.

Received a certified letter written in a similar format as a civil suit. The letter is demanding I pay for towing and storage of a vehicle I traded in in ***** in 2010. I called TRS Towing and was advised if I sent proof that I traded car they would relieve me of this debt. It took some time but I sent in the proof of the transaction. The Owner, *******************, said I was listed as the last registered owner and he would now be suing both me and the car dealership I traded in the car too. I explain that the dealership did a title search that revealed the car was last titled in 2017, also proof I was not the current owned. ************* continued his persuit of this debt knowing it was having adverse effect on my health because of the undue stress. Further investigation revealed the *** report actually says my name as registered owner but also says title cancelled, look up. Ive been advised that its because I purchased the vehicle in ****** but did a title transfer and registration when I moved to *****. I submit that ************* is engaging in unethical business practices which is causing harm to others and request BBB intervention to resolve this matter and take steps to ensure others do not experience the same fate. I have numerous emails I will forward corroborating my statements upon your request.

My son brought my daughter home from airport, unloaded, no longer than twenty minutes; when he left they were trying to put his car on trolley to tow. It is illegal to tow a car with the owner present on private property, period. I told him I knew the law; he said hed let it go for $150 but it had to be cash. We barely have enough to make ends meet and my daughter having dealt with a family crises in ***** already used every dime of our finances; my son said he could get cash at the bank machine from his fathers credit card The guy said fine even though I was reminding it was illegal to take the car like this. My son leaves the guy then proceeds to buckle all the wheels in which takes about five minutes and Im watching from the awning and then he gets in truck and puts it in gear I run out to the street and say hey you said he could bring you the money get out of the way I said you made a deal he drives truck right up to me and then sees Im not moving terrifying, but no way do I have five hundred if I let him leave; then he says hes calling police I say please do as Im recording event & cant believe this is happening he then drives even closer!!! Tryng to drive into me-drives til touching me!!!!!!!my son comes back freaked out gives him the money but he wouldnt give receipt to explain the money he wont have to his father I say he wont give receipt because its illegal. He then said he decide to keep it on trolly so my son demands me go inside so he could beg criminal tow driver not to take it after he already had the 150 I was a wreck. The whole thing was against the law & for nothing he tried to scare he was going to run over me he literally took the truck pressing into me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Claiming I was harassing Him! Many witnessed; humiliating, FRIGHTENING, crazy, illegal. Neighbours had2drive around us hearing everything so its not like it stopped traffic but still, extra trouble for everyone Need money back, apology, want his boss to know.
