  When it was time to sell my 2018 trailer purchased from Trailers Plus in Redmond, Ore. I couldnt find the *** (Manufacturers Certificate of Origin). Other manufacturers will issue a new one online by just providing the *** number and a charge of $25.00. Trailers Plus told me to purchase a lost instrument bond from my insurance. We had paid cash, I had the Bill of Sale. If what they were worried about was that I was the actual owner, I could have provided ID or a notorized statement. My agent had never heard of one and Trailers Plus had no recommendations of where I could purchase the required bond. Fortunately, after a week or two of searching I found an agency in the same town as Trailers Plus (would have saved much time and stress). That bond cost me $100., Trailers Plus then charged me ****** for the new Certificate of Origin. I think that is going a little overboard if theyre charging for admin fees, I did all the leg work.I think their policy regarding lost MCOs is overstepping by several degrees.

  I have bought numerous trailers from this particular business and they have all been good until they changed everything and it wasnt. I bought a brand new trailer about Aug of 2022 I even upgraded to the better trailer Interstate and paid more money. I made one trip home and found the floor leaked. I took it to our local trailers plus 2 hours away at my expense and they found several things wrong, had I strapped anything to the tow downs it would have pulled the floor up and the bottom had not been properly sealed hence the leak. Ok so I thought it was fixed. Used it occasionally for work to haul minimal weight then one more trip back to ******, once again it leaked coming up through the floor.I contacted this business and took it to be looked at again at MY expense! I was told even though it was brand new and first time out it leaked and second trip the same that I would not be compensated for my time or money, they would replace the floor and that it would be in next week so we left it. 2 weeks no word on the floor coming in fact not until the end of the month, this took away time and money out of my pocket since I use it for work and we may have said some things that werent so nice in reply but never the less we had reason to be upset. We went and got the trailer there were words between us, not good and nothing was addressed.Yes the floor did come in finallybut after the experience we went through we were over it. These trailers say guaranteed not to leak, built like a tank and on and onfirst time out.it leaked I would have thought customers would have been taken care of better than this. I wont be back and I will pursue this.Cant wait for your response trailers plus. Lol sure I know what it will be and I will have an answer for everything you throw at **** will be contacting interstate this is an embarrassment for them.
