1 starIf I could give ZERO stars, I would. Nightmare, low end, and fraudulent. ALL calls whether 888 or 503 go through an offshore call center that is not only dysfunctional, they actually lieso bizarre. Example: Today they told my husband they spoke to me on the phone and scheduled a service visit. Except, they DIDNT actually speak with me. I have been wrestling with them for a week. At least 16 phone calls back and forth.(Tech named ******** was able to diagnose the problem, order new parts and fix it 6 days later. Had to throw all contents away. Praying it works moving forward without another issue.)I found where the local office is, though there is no way to call it. Not even the service tech is able to call the office. All his communications go through the offshore call center, as well. Note: **** is a call center flunky offshore, NOT an employee. I am not confident the supposed Supervisor ****** exists either, though I did find a LinkedIn matching the name/company.I would never hire such a company, but because our service is under a warranty, the warranty company dispatches the service company without telling you who it is. We had no control over who was hired.Judging by the piles of bad reviews on Yelp, ******** and the BBB, I suspect the owners are running a bit of a scam operation. I saw Sharper Service mentioned on some ********** complaints, so clearly theyre getting their business from third-party warranty companies as opposed to consumers electing to hire them directly.I plan to contact the owners via certified letter. I will enclose printed copies of other complaints, including the BBB.Note: we purchased our appliance from *********** and Appliance and purchased an extended warranty with the understanding they would provide any needed service. 1 starI give them 0 stars. They were referred by ** to figure out what is going on with range. After scheduling with them to come out on l/31/2025 they said someone would call me that morning and let me know what time they would arrive. By the end of the day after not hearing from anyone, I called the company and they said that someone had came around 11:15. I asked why wasn't I contacted and they said they didn't know. I decided to look at my home cameras and noticed that the repair guy did show up but never knocked on the door nor ring the door ****. ***! Was the purpose of coming if you didn't call the customer and didn't ring the doorbell or knock. I told the company that I didn't want to use them and I am not going to reschedule but they keep calling me trying to get me to reschedule. The people that keep calling does not understand English very well. PLEASE DO NOT CALL MY HOME AGAIN. YOU ARE NOT A DEPENDABLE COMPANY. I ONLY WISH I HAD READ YOUR REVIEWS SOON.Review fromDale H

1 starOne of the worst. companies I have ever worked with. They were selected by the company that covers my extended warranty on my Electrolux dryer. A claim was made on December 9th 2024. It is now January 15th 2025. The repairman showed up last Friday to repair the electronics that had burnt up. While making the repair. He managed to break the heat sensor. The part came yesterday. He called me this morning and said he would be out between 12:00 and 2:00 today. You think that the one ****** that has been waiting over a month to get their dryer fixed would be the first ****** they would want to see in the morning to clear things up. Nope! I have been put on the back burner ever since this ordeal began. The worst part is that it's not over yet. Who knows if the dryer will actually work after they are done. If I had run my business this way, I would have been out of business a long time ago. This company represents the future of customer **********************. None!Review fromShawn M

1 starDuring my experience with Sharper Appliance, I found this company to be understaffed, the technicians overworked, and overall, displays a business model thats more focused on hastily doing jobs, whether they are completed successfully or not, and moving on to the next one. Im left with the assumption that they deliberately test the customers patience, with hopes that either the customer will outright abandon the ********************** and seek another service, or repeat the increasingly frustrating process of rescheduling appointments every week, with little to no *********** ** front loading washing machine was making strange noises and the manufacturer recommended Sharper Appliance. After a month, and it still had not been properly fixed, made worse by the technician's *****, incompetent work, including diagnosing the problem without running a wash cycle or inspecting the machine itself properly.During one job, he tossed a few loose screws and two bolts into his work bag that belonged to the machine. His response to leaving these parts out was, "If something is wrong, just call the office to reschedule something at no charge."Consequently, there was a leakage underneath the ********** one point, the technician casually suggested that I report a crack in the newly purchased drum to the ** warranty department, and use the warranty money to purchase, inner bearings, that he had newly diagnosed as being worn out. I declined.After several unproductive and incomplete appointments, the machine is still making noise, but I will be using another company.I strongly recommend appliance/home owners to look elsewhere for their repair ******* be cleardo not hire Sharper Appliance Repair. They are the most unprofessional repair company that I have ever dealt with. Their level of ineptness is provocative, their degree of shoddy workmanship and minimal professionalism befuddling. ZERO STARS. Website overpromises and ultimately under delivers on service. Technician was late with no phone call. Customer ********************** is not helpful and rude. The customer relations manager would prefer to make customers jump through hoops rather than make it right with a customer.No clean laundry for multiple weeks. "Website overpromises" - Customer said our website says "One Day **********************", however we do not make this claim and it's nowhere on our website.
"Technician was late with no phone call" - Unfortunately yes. Our tech advised the customer he would be there sometime between 11-1, but he ran behind on a previously job and arrived at her home 13 minutes late at 1:13.
"Customer ********************** is not helpful and rude" - We were investigating and listening to the recorded phone calls for quality control
"The customer relations manager would prefer to make the customers jump through hoops" - The part is scheduled to delivery on 4/17 so our customer relations manager offered to schedule you for the following day, 4/18, for the tech to come complete the repair.

1 star** dispatched this company to diagnose and fix an error on a washing machine. Tech was onsite twice and diagnosed issue as a failed control board on a 2012 ** clothes washing machine. ** then stopped communication when they were expected to replace machine power our home warranty.*** spent over a month trying to get this resolved. Weve been unable to use our washing machine for over a month and bearing the expense, both time and financial, of taking laundry to a laundromat.A new company was dispatched to start process over from beginning. New tech traced the issue to the plumbing, an issue with the water pressure for the cold water. While SSS validated there wasnt debris in the hoses, he failed to check if the pressure was correct.Review fromAllison D

I would give them a zero if possible. We have been dealing with a washer warranty repair for 5 weeks now, they couldnt fix it which is fine but now we have been waiting for 10 days for them to close out the claim so we can get a new washer from the warranty company. They could care less and just keep saying they will send it to the back office to take care. Absolutely ridiculous customer **********************!Sharper Service Solutions

We are sorry this has been going on as long as it has. You have not been waiting 10 days for us to close out the claim - unfortunately we did close out the claim thinking this would be over with (being not repairable), but it's Asurion's policy - not ours - that requires an open claim and for our tech to call them from your home in order to convince them that it's not repairable. So unfortunately you do need to contact them to initiate a new claim so that we can come back out to call them from your home to get them to agree that it is not repairable - all THEIR policy, not ours.Review fromBrian D

Sharper is the contracted service provider for Asurion and ********** warranties. What a joke, my washer was deemed unrepairable after 4 visits by the tech and 10 days later they have done nothing to close out the claim with the warranty provider. I have been without a washer for almost 6 weeks and made multiple calls to Sharper and keep getting put off. The last call they told us we need a new claim #. New claim # to close out an #existing claim? Unprofessional. My guess is since I live in **** and they are based in ******, they are about getting as many trips to a repair for more money each time from the insurance company and interested in finishing the job.Sharper Service Solutions

Your warranty provider pays us one rate whether the repair is done in one trip or 10, so your accusation that we're milking them out for more money is unfounded. We are sorry that they are requiring you to get another claim initiated. We know it's a major inconvenience but it is their policy, not ours. If they would take our word for it, the situation would be resolved. But Asurion's policies are what are causing this to drag on, not ours.Review fromBrian A

1 starThe course of my observations with Sharper Service Solutions ran well over a month. It is hard for me to wrap my head around how a company that is run like this is able to stay in business. I think the sad reality is that the need outweighs good practice, and any accountability.For over a month, I received poor service, almost no follow up, and unreturned calls. I waited at my house for scheduled visits three times and no one showed up. This is despite multiple calls and confirmation from their staff that a person would be arriving to my home, and on the same day as the service visit was supposed to occur. I left three messages for the boss of this company (which is based in ******) and am still waiting for that return call. I am someone that understands that things change: schedules, part arrival times, etc. however, this company will not communicate with you or follow up. In addition to waiting for a return call from the owner of this company, I should also be getting calls back (at least from their reports) from someone that does parts ordering, the repair person, and general reception staff with updates. The lack of communication or any follow up was just shocking. The number of no call back/ no shows for a scheduled appointment were more than a dozen. I was left in the dark with what was happening, the cost of parts, or anything related to follow up from this company, even with repeated calls and inquiries. After waiting for over a month to get my appliance fixed without success, I was urged to buy another washer and that Whirlpool would not be able to do anything from their repair person; however, this was not the case. My issue is directly related to Sharper Service Solutions and their disorganization, lack of communication and follow up, and the time I spent away from work waiting for someone that didnt arrive.Review fromD. By "called to inquire" you mean repeatedly call our office and yell at everyone you reached. Is it ok for our tech to provide you a 2 hour window and not give you a courtesy call to let you know he's running late? Of course not. Should a customer be upset if this happens? Absolutely understandable. Does this mean you have the right to call in repeatedly and berate everyone you talk to? No. That is why we are chose to refuse further service.D. S.
