This company sent me a letter in regards to reedtablishing my credit after bankruptcy , they ran my credit then they refered me to a dealership in which I had no clue they were doing that.. this was misleading and false advertisement they send me this Your specialist, *******, w/ ****************** will call in the next 1-2 hrs. If you have questions sooner please call directly @ **************. Thank you!.. I havent heard from anyone.. then after I call this company they say everyone is not approved, had they told me that I wouldve never let them run my credit being that its already bad.. this was to help establish it .. now I have hit on my credit that I want removed because no one called me back to te me whether or not I was approved but just that someone would be calling me back after they ran my creditBusiness Response

In response to customer complaint that we ran her credit report. Our company does not obtain credit reports. We obtain customer permission to send customers application to a local affiliate close to the customer. Once customer approves, we attempt to make an immediate connection to said affiliate via live phone transfer. This was explained and is always explained to every customer. We apologize that the affiliate did not respond in a timely manner, this could be for any reason. However, proper counsel was given to the affiliate about the timeliness of responding to consumer. Our time tested great reputation for helping people after a credit challenge still stands. We will help facilitate this customer's need to resolve this situation. They can make a direct dispute with the credit companies to have the inquiry removed. This is free of charge but we cannot initiate this process.Initial Complaint

Being recently dismissed from Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, it is a difficult place to be in regarding re-establishing credit and improving my credit score. Received most recent solicitation from Fresh Start on 12/15/2023. This is false advertising and misrepresentation.Business Response

This company has been sending multiple mailings that look official' but in reality are not. First of all, do not send something that appears to be from the *** or credit bureau. Secondly, THERE IS PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE MAILER! How dare you! Anyone could see my name, my attorneys name and the fact it says Bankruptcy on an area that can be seen. I'm sure they can get away with it because the information is off by one digit here and there so it's not 'correct', but its frightening that it appears legit to any outsider seeing it. There is no way to get my name 'off the list' apparently. And to say that you are A+ rated with the BBB is a BS. I do not ever want to be contacted by this company again.Business Response

I keep receiving mail from this business but it has a different address and phone number. I don't appreciate having my bankruptcy information on the front of a letter.
