    As a local hospice provider we have been notified by several very unhappy families with their experience with Crown Memorial services. Not answering phone lines several offices have closed Delay in services and no follow up with families to get death certificates completed these are grieving families and do not need added stress of poor service As a hospice team we have had years of good experience working with Crown. This is very unsettling to hear from our customers and we are not able to recommend their services at this time.

    My family pre-paid for mortuary/ cremation services for my father, who passed Nov. 3. We have been calling Crown Memorial to get updates on the status of the weather certificates. I have been promised return phone calls on at least 3 occasions- never gotten a call back.For the last two weeks, no one has answered the phone listed on their website, at all. It just rings and rings. There is no way to leave a message. For the last week, no one has been answering the phones at ANY of the 5 Crown Memorial offices in the greater Portland area.When I have been able to speak with someone in the ************* they cannot tell me if my father's body has been cremated or is still in "storage". They cannot tell me where the weather certificate is. I have spoken with my father's doctor's ******* they have not been sent the death certificate to be signed. This has been beyond disappointing.
