    This place *****. My father passed away in November 2022. Thus began the nightmare. Never use this place for loved ones. They do not answer their phone. They won't call you back. My mother needed the death certificates for my father retirement, and it took over two months. They said it would be a few days. You can tell them, but they don't care. Never use this place. They should not be in business. When you are your lowest, they don't care. They just want your money and then never help you. Avoid this place at all costs.

    This place is cold, thoughtless, un caring, rude, unprofessional - a business that should show you sympathy, kindness and understanding, if you are dealing with them it's due to a death of a loved one, a very dramatic time for you. My sister passed away 8/24/22 between that date and 9/21/22 I had made NINE phone calls to them, not ONE person returned my call. NOT one of them showed an ounce of compassion. On 9/21/22 I filed a complaint with the *************** a representative from the board contacted me the following day - Since I was not my sisters next of kin ( her husband is ) they could not speak to me - again, not one single employee of Crown Memorial even had the decency to say, sorry, but unfortunately we can not provide you any information. On 9/13/22 my brother in law did advise Crown Memorial that they could in fact speak with me - I placed TWO calls to them 9/14 and 9/21 - both of those phone calls were unanswered by Crown Memorial. I'm attending a grief counseling group - I shared this information with the group yesterday - everyone was shocked by the unprofessional and uncaring attitude that Crown Memorial has displayed. Several people said that the funeral home they worked with during their time of need was ****** helpful with information, groups, links, information in general to help during this extremely difficult time, kind of what a person would hope for during such a painful time. Should you find you need the services of a funeral home in the Portland/********* area - I highly suggest you DO NOT use Crown Memorial - Look for another home that actually cares about the devastation you are going thru
