1 starWe were loyal customers of ********************** for more than 10 years. In the last few years, Horizon kept cancelling and rescheduling our twice a year maintenance services. E.g In January this year, we called to schedule our air conditioner maintenance visit for April. The day before, they called to cancel and reschedule for June. In June, the again called to reschedule for July. This also happened to my sister's home. They have been doing this for the last 3 years. We can't trust them to keep their appointments. This is so disappointing as they used to provide good services. This year, I have moved on to another company.Review fromLaura B

Didnt show up during scheduled time frame. I called 2 hours afterward and was lied to. Dispatcher claimed they had called me to reschedule. My phone didnt ring all day. Wouldnt be able to reschedule for another 2 weeks. You just lost a customer if you care.Horizon Services LLC

They are very expensive to do the residential ** and heating business. Their ** and Heating price range between $14,000 and$ ******. I can't afford to replace both so I agree to replace the new furnace first and they promise me if we want to add the ** during one year and I still add the new ** later. After 6 months and we found the ** broken so intend to replace the new ** but they quote around $11,000 again only for the ** (Lenox) but previously they have already installed the furnace for $11,000 last December. They throw out our furnace contract and do not help at all to save our budget. The sales' name is ********************* and he totally can't negotiate what is right for the customers and no more options. Should I give up the previous furnace contract with financing Horizon or to find the other heating/** companies to fit our need?? How come will we spend $22,000 for 2 or 3 tons of furnace/** in the Lenox brand?? Incredible wasting our money to deal with them.Horizon Services LLC

These people put a new Lennox heater in my home and promised a rebate from ****** and PECO on Feb 6, 2024 and to date I have received nothing but a run around from them and their Customer *************** Incidentally, they claim to have submitted the paperwork for this to happen but cant tell me why after 3 1/2 months I have received nothing. Sounds like senior fraud to me.Horizon Services LLC

5 starsThe technician they sent (Keith L***) was very friendly, polite, very well trained and knowledgeable about his job. I have very little knowledge on these topics and yet Keith was patient enough to explain to me what needed to be done to resolve the problem. Additionally, Keith has a very professional and positive attitude. I hope it will be Keith who does my preventative maintenance in October.Review fromKelly M.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We chose this company based on a referral from a friend believing they were professionals that guaranteed their work but this was not true in my experience. We called to fix our heating problem and in less than 10 minutes in we were sold a part for over a $1000.00 which not only didn't solve the problem but apparently is completely unnecessary. A called was placed within a hour of the technician leaving that the heat was still not working and was asked to search my house for a leak, which I didn't find. On his return, hours later the leak was found at which point I was told that due to the location it would be in the 1000's and he would be unable to do it that week. As it was particularly cold, having no heat was not a solution. In a effort to have some heat a pipe was cut and capped for over $600. The next morning I called to let them know that in a 12 room house only 3 rooms had heat. While the technician did call back not only was he not surprised he was unavailable and said he would text me a quote at some point about what it would cost, and informed me that Horizon Services LLC increase there cost every month. He never bothered to text me after my 81 year old mother spent more than $1900.00 for nothing. I had to call in someone else to fix the problem, at which time I discovered 2 cut pipes and a particularly flooded basement. When I called Horizon to discuss the scenario, management couldn't be bothered to return my call. Dissatisfied is an understatement, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I called in an "expert"? I urge everyone who has heating issues to call anyone else, this company is horrible and have zero customer service.Kelly M.

I would still not recommend this company to anyone! After filing a complaint with the BBB I finally received a call back on 12/11/2023 at which time I was told they would look into the situation, on 12/13/2023 Another call back was received at which time they realized they "Dropped the Ball" I agreed to a refund of $1583 for a partially flooded basement, 2 cut pipes, a unnecessary part, and severing the heat in the majority of the house with no return visit or call back to correct the problem. I had to call in another plumber to find and fix the problem at an additional cost of over $1500.00 I asked for the refund to be returned to my 81 year old mother's card and was told it would be refunded in 3-5 days which would have been received by the 12/18/2023, I called on the 19th and was told to wait until the 21st On 12/22/2023I called again I finally heard back from them on 12/26/2023 I found out they couldn't refund the money back to my mothers card and would be a mailed check which would be received by 01/08/2024. I called again 1/11/2024 to find out where the refund was but didn't get a call back until 1/15/2024, I was told at that the check was "processed on 1/2/2024" and now should be received by 1/17/2024 it wasn't. I Called back again 1/19/2024 was told I should get a call back within 24 hours I did NOT! Called again 1/25/2024 No Call back and no answers again, I called again today 1/30/2024 and am waiting once again for a call back for information about the refund that should have been received from the nightmare created by their serviceman back in December. I took less than 30 minutes to take the money from my mothers account but getting the refund or even answers is apparently like waiting on the pony express. I have held customer service, store ops, upper management positions and even have my own freelance business so here's some unsolicited advice for the Horizon LLC owners and employees, business that operated like this don't stay in business long. There is a reason companies do audits, annual reviews and quarterly visits, it is to ensure departments and service are performing at the company standard effectively and efficiently as advertised. I suggest you roll up your sleeves and figure out the problem since the conversations I've had suggest the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and that's a reflection on you. Also I'd like to add, I've never been a fan of excuses or passing blame onto others, I preferer solutions. I never attach my name on anything that I leave unattended, I constantly check up to ensure a task or duty is completed as expected, on the rare occasion an employee under my direction was unable to complete a task I did it myself. As a service rep, if a problem occurred, I followed up with the customer and kept them informed so they would be apprised of the situation and not left wondering, it may surprise you to know most actually appreciate it even if they don't like what they are hearing. I have been more than patient and have to wonder if you think after all this I would give up or rather forget that money is owed, so let me tell you now I won't. I expect some resolution to this, this is beyond ridiculous. At some point I will completely lose all patients and be forced to take this up with anyone who will listen whether it be through social media, chamber of commerce, or in court if need be.Kelly M.

1 starI called Horizon to have them come out and determine why my A/C was not cooling. They told me my capacitor was bad and replaced it. They then gave me a bill that included a charge for a capacitor of $495. I called them afterwards and they refunded me $300. So bottom line they still screwed me over for an additional $170. This is by far THE worst experience I have ever had with an A/C service. They should be blacklisted and I will do everything within my power through social media (including Facebook, Nextdoor Neighbor, BBB) and on their website to make sure that everybody within Delaware knows of their practices. From some of the comments I have received from others on Nextdoor Neighbor many have had a similar experience with this company.Review fromJason F

1 starThe one star is for the work that was done. It was actually done professionally. Customer service is atrocious. If you have an issue they will give you the run around because they do not employ supervisors to oversee their customer service team. No one can escalate a call and no one can provide you with any contact information other than the customer service number. You get sent to people with voice mails. They tell you people will call you back to address your concern and then no one calls. To say the experience with this company has been disappointing is a complete understatement. I have never spent this much money with a company to have them treat me so poorly.
