    Contract for *********** signed 3/6/25. Deposit of ****** paid 3/7/25 Date set for service 4/28/25. Rescheduled 5/3/25. Rescheduled again for 5/13/25. Rescheduled 6/3/25. No show 6/3/25. Says doesnt have staff to complete job. No refund as of 6/6/25 although he states he will return deposit.

    Dear Mrs.*******,

    First and foremost, we at Mikes Lawn and Landscape LLC want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the scheduling delays you experienced. We understand how important it is for our clients to rely on timely serviceespecially when specific deadlines are involved.

     

    Unfortunately, this spring brought persistent and heavy rain across multiple weeks, which created significant complications for our mowing schedule. With numerous accounts to manage, including your own, this weather pattern placed an unusual strain on our operations and limited our ability to perform work during safe and effective weather windows.

     

    To make matters more challenging, we also experienced the sudden and unexpected loss of two critical team members during this same time period. This staffing shortage further impacted our ability to meet all commitments as originally scheduled. Its important to note that these changes were not due to negligence or poor planning, but were decisions made in the best interest of the company and our clients, as those employees no longer aligned with the quality and values Mikes Lawn and Landscape stands behind.

     

    Our administrative team worked tirelessly during this periodextending hours, restructuring schedules, and communicating with clientsto resolve the backlog and implement long-term solutions. We understand that these challenges affected your project in particular, and while a refund is not contractually required under our terms of service, we chose to issue one as a gesture of good faith and understanding of your situation.

     

    That refund was processed and is currently pending, and we have provided confirmation and screenshots as proof of this action. We have also made it clear that if any further issues arise with the refund, we will address them immediately to ensure proper resolution.

     

    Lastly, while we do try our best to accommodate all scheduling preferences, we were only made aware of your firm deadline (June 7th) less than two weeks prior. At that point, with weather and workforce constraints already creating delays, it became nearly impossible to re-prioritize our job queue on such short notice without significantly impacting other loyal and patient clients who were also awaiting service.

     

    We truly regret that this situation unfolded the way it did and that we were unable to meet your expectations. While not every circumstance is within our control, we remain committed to doing the right thing when challenges ariseand always strive to communicate transparently and resolve matters ethically.
