    County Hauling does not remove my garbage, yet they continue to bill me. I don't have one of their receptacles. I have complained to them and Shaler Township to no avail. Please help me to stop them from billing me for services that they don't provide.

    Thank you for contacting us. Per our contact with your township, all residents that reside in the area is to be billed for services.  It is unfortunately not an option to choose services.

    I called August 23rd to inquire about setting out an old couch, for trash pick up, the lady on the phone informed me that we were allowed one bulk item a week. Monday August 29th, the couch was sat with the rest of our trash. Garage men came and went, left the couch there. I called on Tuesday the 30th, was told to leave couch outside, and that someone would be back soon to get it, they left a message for dispatch. A few days later I called back, still no removal. I have called 7+ times left complaints, left emails, no answer, couch is still in front of my house!! It's
    's now September 11th!
    It's beyond ridiculous !!! I am extremely frustrated, not to mention, this past Monday, not only did they not take the couch (again) they also left a bag of trash.

    This company took over garbage collection 9/1/2019. No first bill for months!! Then it had a Late fee. Can't get through. Then bill came in the spring of 2020 with a late fee like I stated. Then COVID came. Next bill received was not until 8/9/"2021" . Tacked on late fees the entire time during COVID. Outrageous late fees and no bills let alone during COVID. Bills make no sense. Can't get so I gave up. now the bill I received is $553.39 PLUS LATE FEES TOTALING $629.42!!! I was able to contact them via email. The entire town is and has had trouble with this company by the way. I am on disability with a very low income. EVERY utility company and beyond work with individuals and go by income. They will not budge. They are willing to waive the late fees BUT WANT THE ENTIRE $553.59 IN ONE LUMP SUM "OR" IF YOU GO ON A PAYMENT PLAN THEY "WILL NOT" WAIVE THE LATE FEES AND WANT $364+ DOWN, $150+ A MONTH, PLUS NEW BILLS DUE, FOR 5 MONTHS AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL FROM A CHECKING ACCOUNT !!! I do not have an account, I use money orders. I'm not doing automatic withdrawal for anyone and won't open an account just for them. How is that working with you when they told the Council they would. I'm not disputing the bill but if they will waive the fees why can't you do a payment plan on the bill total??! They said call 211 for help. I have now gotten the DEP involved and they are investigating because now they suspended pickup and I am not the only one. There is garbage left everywhere. The DEP will handle this company. They are the absolute worse debacle I've every seen. Rude doesn't even begin to say what the employees are like including office AND actual garbage men themselves. They need to be put out of business permanently! (I have also attached screenshots from our towns Facebook page. I have 85 screenshots if you need them and emails I can forward if need be between myself, county Hauling and council. I have made a file folder as well. )
