This company merits 0 stars. On July 17, 2024, this company sent a technician to our home to clear a clogged kitchen sink drain. Right from the start, when he pulled into our driveway, I immediately introduced myself and his curt response was "It took me 49 miles to get here." He showed rudeness immediately and throughout the time he was in our house. After he entered our home, I indicated that the kitchen sink drain to the septic tank was approximately 55 to 60 feet. He immediately responded, "I only have 40 feet of snake." Before he proceeded to address the issue, he made very little to NO attempt to protect the area in which he was about to work. The ONLY thing that he did, was place a filthy tarp of minimal size under his snake equipment. He proceeded to snake the drain and ran the snake only once and removed it from the drain without clearing the blockage. He then indicated he was done and couldn't clear it. Then, he started his departure by dragging a portion of the snake through our living room and down the hallway to the front door, all the time leaking nasty-smelling water. He also left a tremendous amount of nasty smelling water underneath the sink's cabinet, which then leaked out and under our refrigerator. Our bill indicated that this guy ran 60 feet of snake, even though he originally said he had only 40 feet of snake. Also, the same bill indicated that the job was complete, when it was indeed NOT COMPLETE. Immediately after he left, we contacted **** ******, who came to our home, cleared the drain in a very efficient manner and no cleanup was required on our part when the serviceman left. This young gentleman was VERY thorough and VERY clean. I would not recommend the company, Joseph C. Hazel Incorporated to ANYONE! I contacted the office to talk with them, hoping changes could be made to the bill in which an argument took place with several people from that office over me asking them to remove a $25 charge. I never indicated I wouldn't pay the bill.

Our Service Technician, who has been with us for over 8 years went to this place on July 19, 2024. It only took 29 miles to get there so I am not sure where the 49 comes in at. (We were already informed by this customer that if we didn't give him a credit he was going to contact the Better Business Bureau even though we did give him credit on his bill.)2nd Issue - Our Cable only goes to 60 feet. We do not do sewer lines because we don't have a cable with a camera on it like the sewer Company's do - we only do a toilet clog, kitchen sink drain or bathroom sink drain. Our cable machine has a carrying case that is attached and two handles for carrying. There is nothing that drags from our cable machine, so I don't know what that is about. The owner had linoleum flooring and ****** did use a tarp.3rd Issue - Our Company does not work on trailers. Normally when a customer calls for us to go out to perform service they inform us that it is a trailer. We have never been to this customers house and he did not tell us it was a trailer upon scheduling service. We don't work on trailers because the piping and supply lines are different and we do not carry supplies for trailers. We have two Company's that we will recommend that do have the materials to work on trailers. Normally if we get a call for a kitchen sink drain being clogged at a residential home - the clog is usually reached within about 40' because then we will just get into a bigger pipe - with trailers the kitchen could be at one end of the trailer and the bathroom at the other end which would result in using a bigger cable to get the clog out. When the Service Technician was there - no leaks were visible around the refrigerator because the clean out went down underneath the kitchen cabinet.4th Issue - Customer called to complain about his bill - he spoke with one of the office staff - she specifically told him she doesn't have the authorization to credit customers bills and she would have to give it to me because I am the Business Manager and that's when he told her he was going to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau. I spoke to the customer myself when I came back from a meeting and I credited him on his bill.
